The Ten Commandments(qustion) -
05-07-2007, 06:11 AM
I'm new here and I want to know what you (all of you) think of how people are living these days.
Are we or are we not living by the Ten Commandments?
If no then tell me which ones that the world is not doing.
Thanks
Alfreda
PS. sorry i love smilies

I'm sorry that you love smilies, too.
Why not list the Ten Commandments for us, and tell US what you think?
We at Landover Baptist Church do not limit ourselves to the Ten Commandments; there are scores more in the Bible, and we follow every one. Do you?

We are True Christians™ and we follow the ENTIRE Word of God, not just the yummy parts. Take a look at our beliefs HERE.
And by the way, whether or not you like smilies or donuts or dingleberries is of no concern to us. We would all like it alot if you would take the trouble to use proper spelling though.
If you would like to share your experiences in Christ, we would all love to hear about that.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Personally, I think we in the western world are living in a society in which a brainwashing, violent, judgemental, racist, homophobic, demeaning and overall unpleasant religion has the unfortunate majority of people believing in it. Can you guess what that religion is?
Why, xtianity of course.
Wake up and smell the 21st Century!!

The Ten Commandments are:
You shall have no other Gods before me.
You shall not make yourself an idol.
You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.
Remember the sabbath day by keeping it holy.
Honor your Father and Mother.
You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not lie.
You shall not covet.
There it is short and sweet.

Let me confess. I am unsaved. On top of that I have not clammed a religion.
So I don't really know.
I'm posting here to learn about the way Satan and how he has many religions that serve him.
For instance Mormon's. Are they good or bad?

I wouldn't worship clams either. I can understand that.
Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Let's see: they mock and slander Jesus by telling vicious lies about him, encourage unbridled fornication, and reject the Holy Bible in favour of the incoherent ramblings of a demon-possessed maniac who, were he alive today, would probably be using his unrivalled "making stuff up" abilities to become a first-class internet troll. I'd say they fall into the "bad" category myself.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

First of all, do you have your husband or father's permission to be in this Godly forum discussing Jesus? Your confusion stems from the sad fact that you Jesus made you a demale, and they are notoriously befuddled beings and need a Godly man to do their thinking.
1 Corinthians 14:34-36
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
Have you renounced satan and his works? Have you dropped to your knees and begged Jesus to take over your life? Have you studied the Holy KJV1611 Bible from cover to cover? Have you stopped fornicating and committing whoredoms? Given up lezbeanism? Stopped worshiping satan? Learned to make a decent pot roast?
If the answer to all of those questions is an emphatic "YES!", then you are halfway there. You will need to contact our accountants by clicking on the Paypal button at the bottom of this page and set up your Tithing regimen.
The alternative is unthinkable. Better get busy!

First, Alfreda, I'd suggest reading the entire Bible. Start with Genesis, and end with Revelation. As you go through, take notes; what does each chapter tell you about God and Jesus? Who are they?
As a pre-test, some of the 10-question, multiple-choice Bible quizzes at www.landoverbaptist.org/quizlist.html will definitely help you understand some of the lies you may have been told by Pastors Feelgood. When you complete a quiz, you get the full answers with Scriptural references to explain the correct answers.
Here are a few particularly suited to your situation, to get you started:
http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0...logicquiz.html
http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news1...damnation.html
http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0...ttingquiz.html
Let us know how you do!

Meditation is a well-known method for communicating with satan. Jesus wants us to worship Him properly, not like some dothead hippie. Get on your knees and do it right woman!
There is only one true Bible, and that is the Holy KJV1611 Authorized Version. All others are false. God himself dictated every word of the KJV 1611 Bible as you can see HERE.
It is clear from your posts that satan has a firm grip on your husband's short hairs. I urge you to get an authorized KJV1611 Bible and study it with your husband as soon as possible! And tell him for me that Jesus wants him to stop following Lex Luther and follow God instead!

Thank you for pointing out my sinful heathen ways. I am not worthy and will buy a true Bible as soon as possible.
I will as soon a possible.
I'm going to start as soon as he gets home from work.
Alfreda
PS. now i have to go pray for my sinful self and pray for my salvation.
Thank you for showing me the true church.

Kindly list the commandments and demonstrate how he broke each one, or admit to being a liar in a dress.

Actually, I'm Landover's Official Clothing Flammability Tester. When you come to Freehold, I'll be happy to test your dress for fire retardance.
To make it more convenient for you, it is not required that you remove the dress for testing. (We've really streamlined the process!)

Why does no one ever use the spellcheck?
Dose = A quantity measured out ie in medication e.g. 'She was given a dose of medicine for her headache'.
Does = Used in the following type of sentence e.g. 'she does not or he does not'.
And as a free extra:
Your= Possessive. Ie 'Is that your car?'
You're = You are.
