I've been a member of this wonderful forum for some time now, with my husband's permission of course. He chose the original picture for me. It was of a kitten praying. I don't know why he chose that particular one, but he is the head of the household and I don't question him. However, today, he is allowing me to share my picture! I am so grateful that you all now can see my face! Of course, understand that this picture must not be shared beyond this forum. My husband does not want any man (or deviant woman) to use this picture to do...well...those kind of things men do.

I mean, it's not like you have been taken into slavery, is it?

And, as I'm sure you must know, we are to be discreet, and to be attired modestly -- not wearing flashy jewellery to gain attention.

Proverbs 11:22 "As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion."

It is my prayer that you shall seek the in prayer, dear Dana. I mention these things to you only out of a matter of great concern, as I am instructed to so do:

3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

My husband tells me that it is from 1 Corinthians 11:5-6:

It is. The original picture was of myself and our five boys. My husband did not want the boys to have their picture out there on the Interwebs so he distorted them.

There are other ways to remove an unwanted face from a picture than turning them into nightmare caricatures.
