A church in Indiana recieved a letter from the NFL this week in regards to their use of the word "Super Bowl" in a church event, the charging of admission to watch the big game at the church and the projection of the live game on a movie screen, which are apparently illegal and infringe on registered copyrights.

It is abundantly obvious that the NFL is out to get these churches, effectively shutting them down. And why wouldn't they? Church is a competitor in the ratings with the NFL. NFL games are only played on Sunday mornings and church celebrations also only occur on Sunday mornings. This is just another example of Godless businesses muscling out the little guys.

I, as well as the folks at World Net Daily are appalled at this slap in the face to Jesus. As a response and a demonstration of civil disobidience against Christian racism, I, Wash O'Hanley will be charging 15 dollars per person to watch the Super Bowl at my "Wash O'Hanley's Super Bowl Party", which will be advertised in the newspaper and chruch newsletter. I fully expect the NFL and their anti-God hate-machine to try and take me down, but with God on my side I shall prosper.

That's pretty insane, Why would I pay $15 to go to your hose when I can just watch the Super Bowl at my house for free! (Not counting the T.V. bill) But dude haven't you ever heard of Monday night Football? They don't happen on a Sunday they happen on a Monday so no, the NFL is not racist against you.

Talk about a blatant misrepresentation of the facts. The NFL never, ever plays Sunday mornings local time. They also, for the record, play Mondays, some Thursdays and some Saturdays towards season's end.

I'm going to speak with the pastors about an idea I have: We show the Super Bowl in the main church and replace those gaudy commercials with preaching and the sinful halftime show with a short, yet normal, church service. I guess the parking lot attendees can pay the measly $15 bucks and watch it on the outdoor monitors. An added bonus is that our vehicles will be scrapped of ice and snow should the weather turn ill. Hope they dress warmly.
