I was monitoring NPR earlier today, as I like to make a habit of cataloging the liberal media's many offenses against God. I was pleasantly surprised to hear lesbian pot addict Terry Gross conducting a very fair and balanced interview with C. Peter Wagner, of the New Apostolic Reformation, whose goal is to establish Christian dominion over all aspects of American life, including politics, government, and the arts.
I was not so pleasantly surprised, however, by the things which came out Wagner's mouth. I'm not quite sure where to start, but just a few highlights are that he recognizes numerous members of his movement as prophets, he doesn't believe in the Rapture, and he "respects the plurality of religion."
On the other hand, he did speak at great length about demons and the fact that most elected officials are demon-influenced. The conversation even touched on the fact that the Statue of Liberty is a representation of a pagan idol and therefore quite possibly demon-inspired.
It was certainly good to hear an honest discussion of demonism on a radio station that normally does nothing but serve Satan!
Go ahead and read the interview highlights or listen to the podcast and decide for yourself whether these Dominionists are happy-clappy air-heads or the real thing:
C. Peter Wagner Interview
I just don't know what to think about Wagner's statements regarding the Rapture and the End Times, though. Personally, I choose to take Jesus' word at face value:
Quote:
Matthew 16:27
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
