I don't usually think too highly of any woman who flaunts having a career outside the home by going and having that career on the radio of all places, but I must say this little lady has won my admiration by dishing out a much needed dose of truth and good advice:

Personally, I'd say just make a splint and set that broken leg at home. A broken leg certainly isn't going to prevent a girl from playing with her dolls or learning to sew.

If it's a boy, on the other hand, you probably want him healed up as soon as possible so he can get back to tending your crops. In that case, you may be tempted to take him to a hospital. In order to be prepared for such unforeseen eventualities, I strongly suggest you heed Linda Harvey's advice:

But for routine in-hospital care where contact with your child would be required, your values should be respected.”

Oh sure, the R.N. rump rangers will scream bloody murder when denied access to your progeny, but you're actually doing them a favor, because you're denying them an opportunity to really get themselves even more on God's bad side:

I would much rather my child bleed to death than be molested by some fag on the gurney. First of all, he'll probably die anyway, from sepsis, once the feces gets into his bloodstream. More importantly, what if he ends up enjoying it and going to Hell?

It just enrages me when I think about doctors touching the boys Jesus has placed here on earth. A doctor treating an injured or sick boy is the same as that doctor saying "I know Jesus has a plan for you, but I'm going to interfere anyway". Any parent who would bring their child to a doctor deserves any wrath Christ might impart upon them and their family.

What's wrong with a private prayer vigil instead? Isn't it better to scoop up a young boy who has an injured leg and nurse him back to health with prayer and worship sessions in the privacy of a bedroom or other sound-proofed enclosure?

I fear this woman's heart is almost in the right place, but a man needs to set her straight on how the human body overcomes sickness and injury. It's not through "science and medicine" at all, and now her radio show makes it sound like it's OK to EVER send your child to a doctor. It sounds like she really did stray from God's plan for her when she decided to speak on the radio. I'll bet her pie tastes sour.

I think the vast majority of healthcare workers go into that field because of the many gay opportunities they are presented. In what other vocation do you encounter people who are so vulnerable, either because of an injury or the subsequent anesthesia?
