From my understanding, Barack Obama is approx 50% white, 44% morracan (middle eastern descent from northern africa), and 6% negro black. So, essentially, he's not even legally 'black'. His dark complexion is more from middle eastern decent more from his negro heritage. But it was politically advantageous for him to assosiate with others in that way because it would garner more support in those communities.

Well, here is one article I've seen saying this. Though, this was not actually the original article I read. But it gives more or less the same information.

No, I'm not a racist. To be honest, I don't have any issues with race. In President Obama's case, I just don't like his policies and his voting records. I'm a libertarian, essentially. And Obama is much to socialistic in my view. I just bring this up because it's been talked about in many places. Including many here to have said that Obama is not fit for presidency because he's a negro. I was simply trying to say that he's mostly caucatian and arabic. Very little negro black at all. Does this make a difference to me? No.
