Oh boy, I am about to put a huge hole in your logic, the moon is most certainly a rock, and it is made out of tiny particles of glass and rock, and the moon doesn't make its own light, the sun reflect light of the moon, that makes moon phases. In 1997, NASA put a man on the moon, which you claim to be fake, and they got footage of it.. Also, stargazing isn't a sin, I've been doing astronomy for over 2 years now, and I feel fine, so, please, do me a favor and please let us observe the moon and the stars at peace, please? Thank you.

We only see one side of the moon because the moon rotates on its axis at the same rate as it orbits the earth. this is called synchronous rotation. synchronous is a real word even if you don't have the brain power to comprehend it.

the difference between what you have said here and the information provided by scientists is that the scientist have factual evidence to support what they say and you pull sections from a book that's thousands of years old. the scientists also don't say they should kill you for your views, even though they are right and you are wrong.

Perhaps you've heard of the Roman Empire? They imported most of their culture from the Greeks, concentrating more on society than culture. From Julius Caesar onwards for a few years they managed to expand their sphere of influence and although he didn't ever call himself an emperor, what he achieved was generally beneficial. Economies of scale enabled some very impressive infrastructure, roads, plumbing, central heating. No trains but you can't have everything.

There was another stratum of thought among the Greeks however. Sometimes it's said that's where logic was invented (or perhaps codified for the first time) but the great big elephant in that particular room is what happened next. They suggested the temple dogma was false, that there were no gods and goddesses living on the magic mountain and movers & shakers like Euclid, Epicurus, Aristophanes (to name but three) whether privately or in public certainly challenged those temples. Whether by ridicule——and in theatrical tradition (well, it's a tradition now) the logicians were ridiculed too——or by reason, what you call «the thing that holds society together» was being ripped to shreds.

By importing culture, that is what the Romans imported. They did make some statues but they weren't anything to write home about. And despite every effort of the temples to amalgamate, to dump all their bling under one single heading, the whole caboodle imploded. What was being proposed in either case contradicted God.

Why does the moon not fall down? One day the stars will. They're starting to do so now. Some nights quite a few become dislodged and streak down. Now and then one will explode. All explained in The Bible. But astrology doesn't hold anything together either. What's importance is obedience. Obedience to God. Here He includes the alternative to following His word and making up new forms of "logic."

Reason is relevant and I've already included Isaiah 1:18 where God encourages us to use reason to understand important aspects of the world He made. The Bible is our source for information in that case and does include details about the moon, referred to in OP.

These trolls that come by here and make ridiculous arguments are quite amusing. They use the word "science" but know little about God's role in it.

Let's take the moon's "phases." If you watch the moon a lot you will see that sometimes it is not there, sometimes it is all there, sometime half and so on. Why does this happen?

These "phases" are God sending coded messages to his favorite people. Those of us at Landover Baptist know what God is saying.

Recently, for example, the moon has been full. This is code for God telling us at Landover Baptist to open our eyes and see what evil Satan and his liberals are doing. Sometimes we see Democrats doing half witted things. God will show us a half moon.

Trolls here should buckle down and study this stuff.
