Please allow me to introduce myself. -
01-13-2014, 04:28 PM
Hello, my name is Tommy.
I've been browsing this forum for about a year and find it very informative from both, a theological perspective and also scientific. I was particularly impressed with the thread which, demonstrated the true distance of the Sun, from the Earth. It was a life changing insight into the true nature of our reality.
Currently, my favourite bible verse is Galatians 4:16.
As for my church; I share a house with a Baptist pastor who holds regular meetings in the basement so, technically, I live in a church.
My reason for joining right now is this;
I am a currently working on a dissertation about The Morning Star. I asked my housemate, Pastor M'Bongo why some sources, (for instance, The Catholic dictionary,) say that The Morning Star, is both Satan and Jesus. Unfortunately, he was unable to answer my questions to the academic standard necessary to be able to cite him as a reference in my essay.
I appreciate that, Papist literature is not valid academically, either. I would therefore, respectfully ask for any guidence which, the pastors on this forum would be able to help me with in regard to this subject.
Thank you in advance,
Tommy.

A cautious welcome to you, Tommy.
Your comma usage sucks, but it is always nice to meet someone who spurns evolution and secular garbage in favor of our very young, flat earth as God's Word speaks of it.

Pastor M'Bongo doesn't sound like the name of a pastor at all--more like a troll's name for a fake pastor in efforts to put together a story to waste others' time. Surely, that's not the case with you being here, is it? I trust it is not.
To answer your question, Isaiah 14:12 refers to Satan while Revelation 22:16 refers to Jesus. In root form, it is a general reference to angels (a "light bearer" was an angel -- see Job 38:7; 2 Cor. 11:14) and a title of Christ, the ultimate light ("day star") that rises in the hearts of Christians (see 2 Peter 1:19).
Regards,
Pastor Ed

I would also extend but the most cautious of welcomes.
Though "Please allow me to introduce myself." might sound proper and polite it is also a open reference and you will find no sympathy for the devil in this GOD fearing forum
If I add an unhealthy interest in satan, the sole healthy interest being in how to avoid ending up in hell as is favorite catamite, it sounds too much as a morbid satanic emo.
That and presenting your house as a church and "living with" a so-called pastor M'Bongo... does he play with your balls? Alll the Mbongos I could find are soccer and basketball players, not a single pastor.
If I was unfair and there is the will of GOD within you in this search I bid you unconditional welcome and pray thta you have found all you needed in the good Pastor's answer.
So as a final reflection I will leave you with this verse.
Psalms 147:4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
But you should only pay attention to two names. JESUS, that might save you, and stan that can surely be your perdition.

Thank you for the cautious welcome, gentlemen.
I can assure you that I'm not an emo with a Satan fetish and that, my motives are genuine.
Admittedly, Paster M'Bongo is not the name which my housemate uses. It is part of his full name. I choose not to use his working title for reasons of his own privacy. Also, he does not play with my balls as, unfortunately my financial situation caused me to sell my pool table before he moved into this house. His ministry is a reality and often, the prayers and hymns eminating from the basement provide the soundtrack to my own studies.
I am aware that my comprehension regarding the use of commas, is far from adequate so, I hope you all may overlook my lack of accuracy in this discipline.
Thank you too for the references. I am convinced that there are many on this forum possessing great theological knowledge so, any in depth explanations about the duality of meaning would be very welcome.

It is clear that you have studied by something other than the KJV 1611.
There is but ONE passage where you might have that confusion and the translators put it clear,
Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Lucifer=satan=devil
Al the rest morning stars: the highest and brightest=JESUS, minor ones=Angels reflecting GOD's light
Clear?
BTW scripture is not fit for scholarly discussion, it is to be read and studied with the fear of GOD in your heart. Most likely you will write an ungodly papaer, but even if you write a proper paper you are tempting other into blasphemy because their eagerness to disagree will lead them to speaking with satan's tongue.

Welcome to you then, Brother.
We are cautious here, owing to the many false Christians who come here to try to vex us. Still, our policy is to accept you as one who seeks to further his relationship with Jesus and join us here in fellowship. That is, we do so until you reveal that you are a false Christian or worse.
Regarding your promiscuous use of commas: The Lord loves good punctuation and it would be good for you to brush up on your skills in that area. However, my advice to you is to forgo the use of commas entirely until such time as you can understand the purpose for which they are intended. It would be better to seem brain damaged, as is the case with our own unfortunate Brother Russell, that to demonstrate your near illiteracy.
Also, I should note that most, but not all, True Christians receive the gift of perfect punctuation upon salvation. That is part of the cause of the suspicion you are under.
God Bless!

Tommy,
Just how old are you, son? Tell us a bit more about how you came to reside with this pastor. Can you also speak of his ethnicity? I hope you have your own room and that it has an appropriate lock. I won't say more about that.
What is it about your favorite Bible verse that speaks to you? What led you to peel back the veils of vulgar sin that vexed you (and caused our Lord to hate you) and open your eyes to our Sweet Savior?
Are you properly baptized?
Once you have achieved a sincere walk with our LORD and have become a True Christian ™, you will notice the difference the Holy Spirit has on punctuation. Dr. Niles had to lay hands on me more than once to cure my lack of paragraphicalism. Long story.
I'm thrilled to the bowels of my being to welcome you - carefully - to God's Favorite Forum. Should the Dept of Faith discover that are merely here to mock the Messiah, I will have no more to do with you - and that would be a shame. There's pie for you when you're ready. Just ask anyone.
In reverent prayer,

Hello Tommy,
Like others here, I will withhold my welcome until we can discern the true nature of your relationship with this so-called "Pastor M'Bongo" who sounds like a niglet sodomite. I suspect he pounds you like a set of drums, but it is possible I am being hasty.
So, until you answer the questions put to you by the True Christians™ here, I am deeply suspicious of your intent here.

I Kings 7:23
And he made a moulten Sea, ten cubites from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, & his height was fiue cubits: and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it round about.
New here? Desiring to be pleasing in the eyes of The Lord and His Followers?
Then do as directed by our esteemed Pastors and head on over to the Introductions subforum and make your first post there, friend. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus. Anything else you want to share with us about how Jesus has blessed you is welcomed too.
Are you a hater of God that believes He is a morally bankrupt monster? Read Why, you ask, is God so angry? to see that it is in fact you that is the monster that mercilessly and infinitely torments God.
Stop this relentless torturing of God and accept Jesus today!

Yes. Unfortunately I am studying at a secular college. I was so pleased to be accepted for a degree course that I hadn't investigated the full consequenses before I enroled. Three and a half years on, the sweet taste of anticipation for potential learning opportunities has turned bitter in my stomach.
I have been exposed to all sorts of heretical literature by hell bound deviants who have names such as; Albert Pike, MacGregor-Mathers and some wannabe poet who I thought was one of the Ninja Turtles, called Dante somebody. Here's an example:
'Quella che con le sette teste nacque
e de la diece corna ebbe argomento'
I mean, really? Is that what passes for poetry today? The only real word is coma and the rest is just a bunch of Greek nonsense to me.
So yes, I have looked outside the KJV but, I didn't understand amore than one word of it.

Hi, Pastor Ezekiel. Thank you for the interesting links. I have read through them over many months and therefore, i ventured onto this forum with great caution and respect for the rules of conduct. I am under absolutely no illusions as to where I stand intellectually in comparison to the regular contributors to this site. I have watched dozens of people attempt to come onto this site and abuse the warm hospitality they are offered. I have no pity for their assured fate.
Already, after just 2 posts by me, I have been shown how to improve my literacy and even better, Naomi Ruth Lamb has invited me to sample her pie. Whether it's in daily life or on a forum, (not that I participate in any other forum!) I pay kindness with kindness. That's just common decency.
Just one slight thing that I may disagree with (and if I'm wrong, I'll gladly admit my error) I would never bow before God because that seems to be arrogant and disrespectful.
I would lay on the ground as if dead and not rise as much as an eyebrow.
Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last.
As for all the other questions which have been asked of me, it may take me a couple of weeks to get back on here and answer them as the deadline for my dissertation is very imminent and at the moment, it's not looking nearly as godly as it needs to be. I will be back though so, in the meantime, thank you all for your patience.

What sort of college do you attend? I would guess a Culinary school, aprons and all, with all those womanly habits see if you don't end up as a fin de siecle drag quen (bizarre head-dress and all) in the middle of a depraved orgy with golden douches... showers, whatever that is.
As for the poet, if you say that's Greek to you then you must have learned your greek in Paris working, full time, as even then you'd recognize the papist language. Those barbarous names could be only the babaloning of a papist mythologist formerly of Italy and for the last 700 years or so a guest to that one he has so viciously insulted.
As for your not understanding "amore" than the comma that comes as no surprise, amore, under the law of proper English (that we find GODLY) would be "more"

Glad to be of use. You might have saved some trouble had you chosen to study better Revelation 22:16
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
It is clear that JESUS is the emperor (see the reference to king david) sending his messenger to testify, and being therefore the sun of dawn after the nigh of sin and death, not the stars that you misplaced.
The morning star is a pons asinorum that, apparently, you took fish-hook, line and sinker.

Deuteronomy 19:21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
So no pity is due, NONE.
As for the intellectual comparison there is none, for what is a man's intelligence, at most an instrument that can help us see the word of GOD, after that what use is it? Like a telescope to an astronomer if perchance he loses it what importance does it have? Are the stars not there, knows he not where they are?
Only the wisdom and understanding of the one true GOD mater.

Tommy,
When a True Christian ™ woman asks you questions, the proper thing to do is to answer them. While you acknowledged my offer of pie, that is not enough. Everyone here has been offered my pie at one time or another. It's the meat of the man that matters to God, that firm foundation on which he has placed his feet and presses forward until he finds the satisfaction that comes next, when God opens His Heavenly Regions to us all, ever to praise His Holy Name in unison.
Kindly read my welcome to you again, and provide me some answers. The rewards you reap will be worth it some day. God has a special plan for our lives, and it is our place to walk into that plan blindly with the knowledge that He will always be there when it is His will, which we can ask Him about and sometimes He will tell us but only when it serves His purpose, Praise His Name.
Prayerfully,
