Meet Christianfade, Mormon anime-nerd -
10-24-2018, 11:49 PM
Hello, I am a new member of this nice community looking to find new ways to follow God. I came here looking for advice and help on what I should do and not do while on my walk with God. I go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my favorite Bible verse is 1 John 1:7, and I came to find Jesus when I was a teenager suffering in sin and one day found a Bible in my grandfather's house in which he showed me Bible verses and offered to take me to church, in which from the on I came to every service and got saved and came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
I don't know the proper format or if this is enough information, but thank you to those that read and remember, Jesus loves you!
Amen!

Well, here's a tip: leave that hellbound church and start reading the Holy Bible. Everything you need to know is there.

Amen! Jesus does indeed love those who love Him. Everyone else will roast in Hell (John 3:18)!

"Look, people know we're misogynistic because Joseph Smith couldn't keep his hands to himself so every man got loads of wives, they know we're racist because we think Negroes burned their skin being in league with Lucifer before they were born, they know we have private pornographic conversations with young boys without their parents knowledge, but dang this South Park episode makes us look dumb. What can we do?"

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I'm having the most peculiar sense of deja vu right now. Not sure what that's about.

I John 1:5-7
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
It's great that you're reading The Bible, surely the best book ever written! God teaches us about differences, about things to avoid, about light and darkness. Some people imagine that what they do will not be regarded by Him as an abomination, perhaps that He will be unable to see what they're doing. Obviously if God has stated clearly what constitutes abomination and if someone then does that thing, God will know.
What about a person who does the abominable thing but claims it does not in fact constitute wickedness? Could such a person be walking in the light, as Christ is in the light? The Bible associates idolatry with darkness from the earliest times as this passage from Ezekiel makes plain:
Ezekiel 8:9-10, 12 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.….Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
What is an idol? Why is it an abomination? What is wicked about idols? There's no room for opinion here. The Bible sets it all out so clearly and The Ten Commandments alone answer all those questions.
Deuteronomy 5:8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth.
By clicking on the hover link context is available for all verses which, in the case of Deuteronomy, will cover any other questions such as what people do with idols. The wicked thing about any carved image is making it in the first place. It is an abomination because God has commanded us not to do that. Anyone claiming that God doesn't mind their particular image is either abiding in darkness or deliberately lying, perhaps because they manufacture the things and are looking for a sale. How would you describe the following idols?

This is at least the third troll account this person has made. I wish she'd just come clean and let us see who she really is.
Doesn't she understand we won't judge her?

this made me laugh.
-Ps 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
-Ps 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
-James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Apt analogy.

IMHO, either you are a Christian or some sort of heathen destined for eternity in Hell.
All these crazy people praying to a mish-mash of made up Gods. They wonder why they are miserable, angry and depressed. It is because they have been wooed from the Path of True Righteousness™ and with each passing day, every step further away from The Holy Ghost, the more lost they are. Rotten bastards every one of them.
Praise the
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
