I swear wife beating was made illegal sometime around 1910. (forgive my lack of knowledge on American history currently being in England) So you openly break the law despite what Jesus says on the law? Makes loads of sense I'm sure.

Those laws vary state by state. Some Hellbound liberal states have banned wife-beating outright, but the laws in conservative states just define the line between acceptable wife beating and wanton abuse.

Pardon me Brothers for stepping in here, but I just HAD to say something.

When Pastor Zeke spanks me or smacks me upside the head for burning his steak or talking out of turn I feel deeply loved.

It shows me he cares enough about me to show me the error of my ways. After such "corrections" I always try harder to do the right thing and please him and GOD!

It would be nice to be able to afford a set of clubs so that I could deliver a 7-iron, but I found a cheap yet effective remedy. Though many may see it initially as reminiscent of locker room idiocy, a wet towel works exceptionally well. It has to be an old towel, too, because the loose, ratty ends make for an excellent makeshift whip. Plus, if you manage to deliver a blow into the crack, she won't be sitting down for a week. Besides, why would she need to sit down if she has to cook and clean so much?
