Being she is still alive, I think you should hunt her down.
Very firmly get your point across regarding how disappointed you are in her behavior. Ensure she knows just how much she has annoyed you. Do what you need to do to make sure this does not happen again. You are the man of the family, it is your job to keep her in line.

Your wife is under the control of Satan. She should submit to her husband just as we submit to Christ, all as set forth in Ephesians 5.
Discipline is associated with love: As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten...Revelation 3:19. The rod and reproof give wisdom... Proverbs 29:15
...but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding... Proverbs 10:13.
It was certainly a burden upon you that your wife failed to respect you and forced you to discipline her. It is unpleasant, but necessary, because God promises that things will be a lot better after she calms down. Read Hebrews 12:11. "Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous; nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby."
There is no scripture whatsoever that speaks poorly of discipline. I think it's impossible for a man to say he loves his wife and not discipline her when needed.
I am sorry that your wife is putting you through this. It's spousal abuse on her part!!
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

You're lucky you have a wife to keep in line. I don't even have one myself. While I would like a God fearing True Christian wife, I don't have the time to train one right from the start. I spend so much of my time preparing for the upcoming US/Mexican war to protect our great country.
Now if anyone knows of a woman who's already been "house broken" so to speak let me know and I'll snatch her up quick as God struck Moses blind for not listening to him (and he got off easy).
Only 2 in all of history have died for freedom all over the world... Jesus Christ and the American soldier.

This is my thinking as well.
She finally communicated with me via text message a few times. She didn't say where she and the kids were, only that they were safe and she didn't feel comfortable coming home. She said she'd never seen that look on my face before and that it terrifies her to think about what happened. I told her that was God coming through and helping me to overcome my past and rebuild a house that serves Him. I also told her God has a plan for us and if she would give Him a chance we would be greatly rewarded. She told me I was "crazy" and that she needed time to think about everything.
I then told her bluntly that she had 24 hours to return home and detailed exactly what would happen if she disobeyed me. She replied "I feel like I don't know you anymore. I'm not returning home and I'm filing paperwork tomorrow to get a restraining order"
I took today off and sat in a rental car outside her work and she never showed up so she must be working from home, wherever that is. I've also looked at her credit card receipts and based on the stores she's shopped at I've narrowed down her location to two different places, both places being friends houses that she works with.
I pray for her sake she returns home within the deadline.

What can I say? It's scary when Daddy goes crazy. And evidently the beatings did nothing for me when I was little; I turned out pretty far from what my father was aiming for.

Well played!
While she thinks she has 24 hours before she has to make a move, you can pounce tonite and bring joy at the end of a switch to her while she is sleeping.
Imagine the thrilled look on her face when she realizes all the effort you went through to hunt her down silently in the dakness of a pitch black night.

He obviously didn't beat you enough.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Re: I hit my wife for the first time -

Well she didn't abide by the 24 hour period I allowed her, I checked the first house I thought she might be at and her car was in the driveway. I went to the local Walmart and got a few items and returned around midnight and made my way into the house. I gave her the option to come home once again and she declined and I made it known in no uncertain terms that I wasn't happy with her decision.
But the good news is that I've secured possession of my two boys. My wife apparently had told them a few lies about me and I've had a talk with them about that. But they were tired and stressed so I tucked them in and let them sleep. I'll wait until things have settled down to begin explaining that Mommy was a bad person who made a decision to reject God. In the meantime I'm just glad to have them back and ready to take the next step in our lives.

She is probably just upset that now you are a Christian and won't be providing her with perverse, sodomistic sex. She is out hunting for someone that isn't afraid to get a little dirty. Definitely put a stop to this sex crazed rampage of hers. You spoiled her with the dirty sex. Now you must accept responsibility and save her soul with the Rod of Correction.

To hit a woman... to hurt her... thats possibly the most unholy and immoral thing that anyone can possibly do. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. They are adults too, you do not need to "guide them". They can guide themselves. Who made you God?

Whose fault is it that we're no longer in the Garden of Eden?
Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Women are filthy little addle-brained beings that need to be kept in line. Look at what's happened to our society since the liberals let women decide things. Homosexuals everywhere, rude children, crime rates skyrocketing. All because women are out "discovering themselves" instead of being the homemakers that they're meant to be.
1st Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1st Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1st Timothy 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
1st Timothy 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
1st Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1st Timothy 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
1st Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1st Timothy 2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Colossians 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord
Even if a woman is married to Unsaved Trash, she is to be obedient
1st Peter 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

She asked where I was and I told her I was working in the garage and she said I checked the garage and you weren't in there. I told her I must have been in the corner where she couldn't see me.
She asked if everything was ok, and that she noticed I had ordered a Bible from Amazon. I told her that I was reconsidering my views on God and there were going to be some changes in our house. I told her that she was going to have to leave or sell her company, we were going to start going to Church and she was to stay home to cook, clean and homeschool the kids. And keep in mind the whole time she's looking at me like I'm crazy and I'm feeling disrespected in my own house. I got around to Halloween and how we would not be observing it anymore and that pumpkin pies were not to be made anymore. I told her it had to stop.
She looked me in the eye and said "Are you out of your mind?!?" and that's when God himself spoke to me and said "This is your house, I am your God and she is your wife, CONTROL HER!"
I'm ashamed to admit it but I hesitated, I didn't know what to do. That's when I felt Him enter my body and felt my hand raise up from my side. The back of my hand connected with her cheek and she screamed "What the f@*% is wrong with you?!!!" Again, as if acting on it's own my arm swung out again and hit her in the face and she was silent, crying on the bed where she had fell.
After a few moments I asked her if she understood the changes we would be making and she nodded yes, never looking up at me. I said "Good, now I've worked up an appetite, why don't you go make some lunch." She replied that we didn't have anything to make and asked if she could go to the store and I said that was fine. She then asked if she could take the kids with her as they haven't been outside all day and that it would give me some peace and quiet to study my Bible.
I feel our talk was very productive and that she understands her role as she asked me permission to leave the house. And I feel overjoyed that God himself entered me and filled me with his Love and showed me firsthand how to deal with a disobedient wife. But most importantly I feel I have the proof I've spent my whole life searching for. God took control of my body and spoke to me personally!! I feel so blessed that he chose to reveal himself to me.
The wife should be home any minute now, she's been gone an hour and a half, I don't know what's taking her so long. I guess we were very low on food so she had a lot to buy. Thanks for reading, I just wanted to share the progress I've made!

I dont want to sound sour, but i have 1 thing to ask you:
How on earth can you even look at yourself, and think that you did a "good job"??? a person should never hit another, AND especially not Woman!!
A man which can't settle things with words, is a weak man, and you should be denounced from christianity.
And by the way, your wife sounds like a clever Woman, and I hope she left you, taking your children away, from a man, which cant control his temper and becomes violent.

As everything else that leaves your mouth, this is utter nonsense.
Proper education requires proper beatings: Proverbs 13:24 "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."
And you are a clear example of how bad people turn out if their parents didn't give them proper beatings.

This account is quite beautiful if I may say so myself, seeing a young married couple turning on to the path of Jesus brings tears to my eyes.
Reminds me of the first time I physically disciplined the wife, with my golden rod; it has the word "Daddy" engraved into it.
My father used it on my mother and passed it down to me, rest his soul.

Well played so far, sir. In time, she will return like the lost, little dumb sheep that she is. If not, however, you may need to take things up a notch, just to send her a clear message. With my first wife, who has since gone home to be with the Lord, beatings lost their impact over time. I had to get creative whenever she disobeyed. Near the end of her life, she had a problem with being ungrateful for anything I did for our family. This included my paycheck, home repair, the time I let her see her parents, you know, things of that sort. I made a real breakthrough when I filled the bathtub full of water. Once it was full, I stunned her with a tazer and dragged her into the bathroom. When she regained her senses, I had her by the hair, with her face about an inch above the water in the tub. I then explained to her that everything she had in this world, including the ability to breathe air, was a gift from not only me, but God Almighty. With that, I dunked her head underwater for about 45 seconds before pulling her back out by the hair for about 5 seconds or so, before putting her back under. I repeated this process for about 15 minutes, at which point I felt that she had learned her lesson. I finished with a scripture reading, and forced her to give herself to me before having her make my lunch for work the next day.
Remember, simple hitting is effective, but sometimes you need to take things a step further in order to send the right message.
