What happened at Jesus' birth is carefully recorded in the Bible. We all need to study it and take in its lessons.

During this current time of women marching and making demands of all kinds we need to note what happened in Bethlehem. In my reading of that history the only woman present was Mary. The Catholics put a lot of importance on Mary but this is not verified in the record of what happened in Bethlehem.

The thing we need to take away from the event of Jesus' birth is the prominent role of men. Among those God wanted there were shepherds, men of course. Then there were the famous Three Wise Men. These men were central to what God wanted at the site and time of the birth. Wealthy men, not women, bringing expensive gifts made the historical record of the birth also a lesson that God wants men to be in charge.

Number one could be Aphrodite, numbers two & three are detailed in the bottom picture: “Allow me to twist your head off.” Or it could be neck snapping from what I understand the hands are in the wrong position for head twisting which needs to be done without announcing one's intention.

The fourteenth idol is a random feature, one of many roof-mounted examples, and the king is off to the right and not visible. I've included a view showing the blasphemous tree. No doubt the pope will be doing some muttering and incense burning, neither of which ever occur in a Baptist Church but which are common enough in heathen temples to be considered essential. I couldn't see a baby Jesus but He's the last thing heretics ever consider so no surprise there. He could be a glowing orb however (there's something glowing in the manger) put there to represent the sun, with the goddess on the roof a picture of heathen idolatry. And that's about where we came in.

To be fair, women also play a role in society. There are blonds, brunettes and redheads. Then there are the 2 subcategories: mothers and whores. That makes 6 distinct roles that women can choose from, or rather be assigned based on the balance of their characteristics: beauty, docility and temperament. A hysterical redhead for example would be unsuitable for marriage and motherhood.

Even when the three are correctly presented as men, homers try to muck things up. In a basilica in Italy homers have claimed the three wise men were three dancing dandies in tights. The War Against Christmas goes back several years:
