How God will choice the selected 144000? -
08-01-2017, 01:13 PM
Hello!
You are aware that only 144000 people will go to heaven.
It's estimated that 108 billion of people has lived already. This means that only a 0,00013% will make it to this day. Considering another 1000 years, the percentage goes lower.
It's possible that the chosen 144000 already are in the heaven.
How would you feel, you are death and suddenly you are surrounded with flames being a True Christian in your life.
May be there is room for only two people more, we can´t know but thanks to math it's very possible that we are already condemned.
Regards.

No. I am aware that only 144,000 Jews will go to heaven.

Forgive me, it has been rather cloudy here, I may have missed the arrival of the Whore of Babylon aboard the Great Beast of Revelations... or perhaps it happened in Michigan.

Much the same way as if I had found a hen with teeth.

Well, I'd put money on your being condemned - it is clear that you have avoided the Word of God as one would avoid a leper with cholera.
You have reminded me... I need to pray to God to introduce an intelligence test for admittance to heaven - I don't think heaven would be at all pleasant if I had to listen to people like you for all Eternity.

Very droll, esteemed Brother Bathfire. Though it would be an excellent cherry on top of the torture sundae if all the smug, over educated atheists burning in hell had to listen to fools such as the OP.
Those who refuse to accept the Bible as God's Word and those who confuse the Bible with their own words may seen like unlikely bedfellows, but Hell will be nothing if not innovative.

One small part of the Bible kind of alludes to that, but many other parts contradict it. So if you want to keep this discussion going, CITE THE SPECIFIC VERSE that supports your view (i.e. show more than 15 seconds of half-assed effort on your part if you expect people to take time from their busy days to dig up the stuff that shows you're wrong).

Evidence against all-consuming idiocy: The ability to type and use of proper punctuation in the thread title.
Evidence for extended levels of idiocy: Using the noun/adjectve "choice" instead of the verb "choose."
For no particular reason, I could pull out a random number from the lower end of my digestive system and estimate a 73% steady level of idiot energy charges pinging around the neurons in this person's brain. That leaves a 27% battery charge to maintain breathing, swallowing, burping, blinking and typing out stupid questions.

I really cannot fathom what this Refrigerator (think I can call him 'fridge'? Super) fellow even cares.
It reminds of a few weeks back when I has in NYC at Harry's down town having a Porterhouse with a few of my nieces. It had been raining something fierce and I was glad to of had a town car that day that was able to drop us off right out front. Anyway, there I am, savoring the filet portion and I see a disheveled homeless man staring at my steak. Odd I thought, why does he care what I am eating, it is not like he will ever get to have one.
The point being that God teaches us about what matters and what does not matter. There was thick plate glass window between my steak the and the starving person for a reason. He does not get any just like Fridge here will never get into Heaven.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

It occurs to me that we might need to do something about our entrance exam that we require in order to sign up for an account here. It is sort of "open book", and there are no time limits and just about anyone can look up the answers on the internet given enough time.
On the other hand we're not running some kind of "affirmative action" program here, and it seems to me that the quality of new unsaved trash showing up here has diminished over recent time - more that likely coincident with Obama being president. I don't remember Jesus waiving any requirements to get into Heaven recently, and we should be taking that under advisement.

You may have trouble understanding this, but here goes. If you follow many threads on this board you will see two words followed by a qualifier: True Christian™.
Jesus will start His selection by taking all those who qualify, who have earned this designation, with Him.
I hope this helps.

Dear Friend,
The problem is not in the missing answer but in the question, as it is meaningless when one looks into the Bible with a pure heart. It is the same as if you asked if "blue was more rectangular than brown". In both cases, you should not expect a rational answer to a question that is mostly targeted to make your interlocutors look like fools. But the main issue can be assessed. Praise Jesus. The verses from whence your question arises are as follows:
Revelation 14:3-4
And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
We all know that Jehovah's Witnesses have twisted this passage to mean that only 144,000 will reach Heaven and in desperation they've come up with the escape clause of being assured eternal corporeal existence on the New Earth. They should be desperate but not because of this (there are other issues with them such as complications with their views on Jesus's Divinity).
Please read the verse carefully. It tells us that 144,000 male virgins are the ones in Heaven who form the perpetual entourage of Jesus. They are in Heaven and follow Jesus all the time. This does not exclude the possibility and there are also others in Heaven who do not follow Jesus all the time but spend their eternity engaged also in other activities. In fact, the same Book of Revelation also mentions others besides this 144,000.
Revelation 4:4
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
This makes 144,024 but there is still more!
Revelation 7:9
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
The 24 are the people who will apparently spend Eternity sitting by the Throne. I really don't mind not being among these 144,024 as long as I am also in Heaven among the multitude (the multitude must be more than 144,000 as it cannot be numbered and the 144,000 could be numbered so the assertion of 144,000 is meaningless and so is your question Q.E.D.). I, for example, am going to be quite happy pursuing other activities, for instance, peeking into Hell and looking at (Luke 16:26 and the whole story around it - read it!) the torment of those who try to be witty and outsmart the Bible and Jesus!
How will God ultimately select those, who are fit to enter Heaven? Once again, it is told in the Bible. This is for those, who have not Raptured (1 Thessalonians 4:17), are not among the 24 or the 144,000, etc.
Revelation 20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The fate of each and everyone of those is clearly written in the Book of Life.
Once again, I was happy to enlighten you. Please, read Luke 16, the whole Chapter. It has a message for you especially.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

Thank you for insulting people who are simply doing God's work and trying to be of help.
Tell me, do you kick your grandma for putting raisins in your fresh baked chocolate chip cookies?
I do not think you have to concern yourself about ever going through customs at Heaven. You'll be on the short bus to Hell.
Consider this:
You're riding your bike, all proud because your dad took off the training wheels. A Good Humor truck comes and runs over your gut, causing your body to burst and spray entrails all over the street.
You're dead
Whether due to your own disgusting sinning or the Lords divine will, you are dead. Instantly your soul begins falling towards the black abyss above Hell. The falling seems eternal as you gather speed and the heat begins to grow. Then you notice a red dot below you growing larger by the second, this is the Lake in the center of Hell. It is the brightest point in Hell therefore it is visible for a great distance. Keep in mind that the farther you fall, the further from Christ you are.
As you gain speed and the flames become apparent you may wonder how you can stop this from happening. The answer is simple. It's too late and you can't, you're doomed. Your soul is damned and it WILL happen. The temperature is now approaching the unbearable limit as your flesh begins to smoulder and ignite and you continue to build speed as you plummet toward the now visible boiling Lake of Fire. You can almost make out individual souls thrashing in the magma with your flaming eyesockets. Soon you will join them, your terror mounts as your screams become gargled with the stench of Hells evil smell. The heat becomes excruciating as you notice your skin peeling away and your bones becoming visible and black. Flaming and screaming in anguish, you splashdown into the acidic brimstone of Satans Lake at around 250 MPH. You are instantly vaporized and reformed as a tormented soul writhing in absolute terror in the deafening depths of the Lake that Burns Eternal. The pain is beyond comprehension as you gnash your teeth so hard they shatter in your mouth. Satan periodically plucks you from the flames to savagely rape repeatedly and casually tosses you to his infernal minions to rip apart and rape at will, only to be reformed and have this scenario repeated...over and over and over, forever.
Is it still funny mocking our mission to Save© your soul? We want you to enjoy Heaven and eternal praise and worship at the feet of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.
Unless you are Saved™ by Jesus Christ and His Holy website and favorite church, Landover Baptist, there is no other way to avoid this.

The Watchtower Cult is plagiarized from the Holy Roman Catholic Apostolic Church. They somehow decided that their organization is some sort of "New York Vatican" that has the power to decide whoever is saved and is the only one who can correctly interpret the Bible. They also use the same iconography of Jesus that Catholics use and even excommunicates you if you do something wrong. They also love continuing heresies such as Arianism (denying that Jesus is the Son of God) or Ebionitism (claiming that he and St. Michael are the same being). Their cult has by now recruited more than 144000 people, and yet the Apocalypse didn't happen. The 144000 in fact is very clear that they are all Catholic priests. If there was a cult that can be considered close to Islam, it is the one founded by Russel.
