After reading this thread, I am severely tempted to retire my 1 Corinthians 7:7 vow of chastity.
(and take a nice long cold shower).
I'm amazed at the number of Proverbs 31 women in our fellowship

Proverbs 27:17
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Brother Basher, I was a young man once too, and I understand the kind of trials and loneliness you are facing.
It is important for you to stay strong no matter what. The Bible tells us we must not have even a hint of immorality among us.
I'm sure you've heard Brother Edward Current speak on the topic of resisting the urge, and I know Pastor Zeke has spent quite a lot of time discussing the issue with you as well. I suggest you find a woman and marry her as soon as possible to avoid sexual temptation!
Do not wait for love, as your love belongs to JESUS! Your goal is to make more True Christians so that future generations of our church youth will not have to resort to marrying their cousins.

Mr Basher. I feel so sad for you. You seem so lonely Sir. I will pray that our Dear Lord sees fit to send a companion to you.

No Sir. I'm not seeing anyone. My father has been very careful with me having gentlemen friends. He is very strict.

Oh Mr. Basher. I hope I haven't put you off. My parents have brought me up to ba a good girl. And I have learn't everything from my mother. I cook clean and can iron a shirt with either a crease that is as sharp as a knife. Or without a crease at all. Depending on the way you like it. (Daddy likes a sharp crease).
I am physically quite small with not much weight to me. But I'm not lazy Sir. I work here in my Fathers house from the time I get up to the evening time. And I'm loyal and faithful too.
I just sensed an aire of sadness in your short reply. And felt the need to explain to you.

Mr. Basher, I think its about time my daughters start findin' themselves some eligible bachelors. They are gettin' of age an all.
How would you like to court my 12 21 year old daughter Amelia-Polly? I aint got no recent pictures of her because she is all shy and demur an all around men and dont like the cameras, but my wifes got a super-deal tatoo of her etched into her arm forever. She just got it done this summer with 20% discount at the 2009 Texas Pro-Life Expo.
Aint she perty?
No dont get all hasty now. Come drive down by Pleasant Fields trailer park in Glasscock TX off Route 24. Shell be waitin' by the phone to hear your manly voice.

Brother Heathen. I am working my way into being Saved. With the help of the Pastors at the LBC I am changing my life of sin into a life of Godliness. When I become saved and get better maybe you would consider having my father accompany us on a date.

Well, Miss April and I have a sort of 'understanding' at the moment, but there are plenty of other fine Christian men around.

Yep....
Me too.....(alone for 6 years)....
your still a young fellow, you got lots of options ahead of ya.....
Do as I've begun to do: ask the CREATOR of the universe to send you a mate...
there are only "2" things impossiable for GOD......
(1) is for GOD to lie....
(2) is for GOD to die.....
ask; in faith beleiveing....

Are you insane? Both of those things are true. God did die. That's a basic tenet of Christianity! Are you denying Christ's holy sacrifice of Himself to Himself?
Also, the Bible tells us God lies all the time:
1 Kings 22:23 Now, therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee. 2 Chronicles 18:22 Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets. Jeremiah 4:10 Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people. Jeremiah 20:7 O Lord, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived. Ezekiel 14:9 And if a prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

Mr. Basher,
I have read your words Sir, and deeply respect you're God given desire for a wife to serve you. I am a Canadian girl, though I beg you Sir, not to compare me to others. I am quiet and gentle, submissive, obediant, and respectful. I am a very hard worker, and have always wanted to live on a farm. I would work hard, and serve you faithfully. If you would like to know more about me, I would be honoured Sir, to have further contact with you.
Respectfully,
Abigail

Sir, I have no husband. If I had, I'm sure I would be far more concerned with serving him, than being on a computor.
