Someone claiming to be the lead singer denies this, but I don't know, the evidence seems awfully conclusive.

I am currently unsure if this is true or not... Possible?

However, as I have seen around online... seems that it is rumored he was "The Zodiac Killer" which has been spread around quite a lot actually.

Stryper was one of my favorite bands when I was doing my undergraduate work at Liberty University in the late 1990s. When Ted Cruz announced his Presidential campaign at Liberty last March, I thought he looked familiar!



When I think of Stryper and Ted Cruz, I fondly look back on the years I spent in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where all the guys from my fraternity really put the "Lynch" in Lynchburg!

Ted Cruz is a shapechanger. He can take many guises -washed out politician, pimple faced student wannabe, serial killer, satanic musician (premarital sex, profanity, indecent exposure arrests). But whatever shape he takes he retains the homer look on his face.


Just look at the eyebrows, he uses them in a typical homer way. He knows and uses "the code". Goes right back to his student days. How flagrant can Ted be, even at 18 "Aspirations....is that like sweat on my butt!" filmed in front of a symbolic "water feature". Sickening.

I would not be at all surprised if Ted had a history in the performing arts - nephew Zebulun says his father appeared in that TV show "The Munsters".
