Rev Elizabeth Baxter doesn't believe in possession, and favours a therapeutic
approach to traumatised people over what she sees as some church's abusive methods.

Prepare to have your eyes out on stalks, brethren. This woman priest may as well be an atheist for all that she has to do with Jesus.

According to her, Jesus was stuck in the (wrong) thoughts of His time and naturally (wrongly) chose to cast out demons rather than sitting the demon-possessed down and talking to them over a nice cup of tea and telling them God loves everyone.

Mark1:32-39
32And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. 33And all the city was gathered together at the door. 34And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

Jesus was only doing what he was too ignorant to know better to do, says this woman, this blaspheming genial loon! Yes, she's doing the work of atheists in belittling Jesus. What Jesus did was in the thoughts of His time but now we know better than Jesus so we mustn't do as He did. We must sit them down and lie to them that God loves their demon-infested souls.

So, was Jesus little more than some pantomime artist performing pointless rituals that are products of an ignorant, pre-scientific time? Because if you subtract the passing mention of God in her alternative therapy then sitting the possessed down and having a lovely chat sounds just like what the atheist medical profession does. Shame on her!

Of course women priests do the work of the devil! Back in the old (OLD) days, they were called priestesses and they ran the temples like big, socialist bordellos.

The Lord God went out of His way to get rid of the feminine influence in worship practices, belief systems and property laws. He HAD to, or property could not be passed down properly from father to son.

Anytime you have a woman in authority, the Devil is behind it. Look at Eve, commanding Adam to eat the fruit, And who talked her into getting all uppity?

Satan! That's who!

Women who act up like that should be burnt at the stake. And the fire should be kindled with pages from books touting all the false doctrines of "equality".

Excellent point, Pastor. As the Bible makes clear, spiritual whoredom is more serious than the carnal kind.

Prostitutes can spread disease as they spread their legs, and people can die from these diseases. But false teachers and preachers lead people into everlasting damnation!

At least when someone is wasting away from a disease they can pray for forgiveness and be cleansed in the Blood of the Lamb, but once a soul is sent to Hell, there is no end to their suffering and no cure for their sorrow.
