We Must Protect White Christian Water Rights During Drought -
11-29-2022, 12:38 AM
It's the right time for Landover Baptist to defend those courageous white Christians who moved into the dry desserts of Southwestern U.S. and used the water there to build huge cities. We're talking about Las Vegas, Los Angles and Reno. White Christians read Genesis 1:26 which gave them dominion over all of the earth. They took what water was available back then and prospered. Now there is a drought and the native Indian people think they should have a voice in who gets the shrinking supply.
Since those states are not agreeing on how to divide up the dwindling water the Federal Government will be stepping in. Native Tribes are saying, "We deserve a seat at the table when negotiations are taking place."
This is ridiculous. Indians lived there for thousands of years before white people arrived. They could have irrigated everything and made a Las Vegas or an L.A. Indians had their chance. They sat around the dessert living off of beans and squash. They ignored Genesis 1:26, did not use up the water then and have no right to claim it now.

Re: We Must Protect White Christian Water Rights During Drought -

One of the things that confuses me in all these stories and debates is that I thought water is a closed system. I was taught (in a secular environment, so take this information with a grain of salt) that all the water that ever is (and ever was) already exists and that it just get recycled and deposited again.
So, this first begs the question of where all the water is going to, and-- as a True Christian™-- I think it may prove that science is wrong.* God put a LOT more water "into the system" during the Great Flood and then He took it out again. Is is possible that The Lord is siphoning off water for His own particular reasons?
He did promise not to destroy the world using water again and instead stated His intent to use fire. Getting rid of the water means less of it to fight any Divine Fire so this may Jesus playing a long game.
* I know that virtually everything in the Bible disproves the false religion that is science, but sometimes it's fun to parse the details.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

Red Injuns didn't have a concept of land ownership. They don't have a claim to one single drop of water. If they'd like some, they're welcome to purchase some like everyone else. If they really wanted those rivers, they should've done a better job defending them from invaders. Jesus doesn't like losers, and the Red Man is about as big a loser as there ever was. Even the blacks look like winners compared to them.

Good question, Sister Handy. You have probably seen Florida cities flooded during hurricanes. These have been cities with homer bars and clubs. God takes the water from homer areas in the SW and dumps it on sinful areas in Florida.
May I point out Freehold has no homer bar, no flood and no drought? God loves us.

It's an interesting question for theologians, but practically it's a moot point because Jesus will return long before the water runs out and save everybody worth saving. There is no need to plan for a hypothetical future in which Jesus doesn't return soon. It's just ivory tower m*asturbation (an we know how He feels about that).

Well according to atheist eschatology, the apocalypse is coming in the form of climate change. So really nobody believes society is going to be here in a few centuries. We should not take anything other than short-term profits into account when dealing with the environment.

Putting it that way is in synch with the Bible, Brother Lukes. God tells us in Genesis the land, plants, animals, etc. are ours to use as we please. That includes water. The directive to use them as we please implies we are to use them up before the rapture. Draining Lake Mead and the Colorado River carries out what God wanted us to do and is a signal the end of time is near.
A message to atheists: Enjoy your brief lives wasting away beside the empty rivers.

No one can escape God's wrath - and that includes Las Vegas. Vegas is sin city - home to gambling, prostitution, corruption, and to the cultural rot of Elvis impersonators.
Nevada is also home to the despicable Mormons, corrupt Democrats, and RINO "Oven Mitt" Romney.
Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
...and get off my lawn

Think about all the things the so-called scientists have gotten wrong:
- evolution
- the Big Bang
- the theory that matter is made of molecules
- the theory that our bodies are composed of cells
- the theory of relativity
- the theory that germs cause infectious diseases
- the idea that nuclear reactions power the sun
Then ask yourself, why should we pay any attention when they speak on any subject, including water.
I don't know why we're even talking about giving water to the Indians when white Christians need that water to grow alfalfa in the desert. But, in the spirit of compromise, I say we ship a few thousand cases of liquor to the tribal chiefs. The water they really want is fire water, and this should keep them occupied and out of trouble for a while.

Might I add:
- the theory of gravity (disproved by aeroplanes and rocket ships)
- the theory that mercury causes immortality
- the theory of heliocentrism
- the theory of the value of pi
- spherical earth theory
- the theory that trickle down economics doesn't work
- the theory of the water cycle
- Adam and Eve were Africans
- Africans are Homo erectus
- the theory of the existence of Antarctica

This is truly Godly thinking. Slash and burn agriculture made us who we are today - our heritage. Modern industrial farming using chemicals and pumped ground water have transformed what was once plain native forest into an economic powerhouse of carbohydrates.
Instead of a simple, out-dated ecosystem (ugly trees and animal poop) we can look out and see pristine monoculture that fills our tables and arteries with a feast of corn, corn syrup, corn oil, sweet corn, popcorn, powdered cornflour, E218 (methyl parahydroxybenzoate), E216 (propyl parahydroxybenzoate), E1442 (hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate), and many other synthetic dyes and modified starches.
Moreover the once worthless common land is a source of generational wealth for private landowners who trickle it down onto lazy people who can't be bothered to have their own family estate - transitory migrant workers and cleaning staff. I picture it like that movie with the dwarves whistling happily while they work but instead of birds and squirrels and a white princess, corn.
