Of course it isn't. We already determined that it is nearly 600 miles.
If you believe (because you have been told) that it is millions of miles away, then you are welcome to try to disprove us. We used two independent ways of determining the distance scientifically and they both gave the same result, here and here.
We have scientific proof. All you have is "Naw-haw I heard different in science class so you're wrong."
You believe whatever your science teacher tells you, without proof or evidence of any kind, and you think WE are "sheep who just agree for the sake of it".

God did not provide you with the equasion, science did.
That theory only works with certain types of light, the sun how ever, does not comply with your statement. Inaccurate, irrelvant and silly.
If the sun was 500 miles above, we would be dead.

Boy, go out on any sunny day and you know what you will see all around you? Light. Make all the excuses about different kinds of light you want, but I don't believe it. It's like that evolution crap you believe. Always trying to fill in the gaps or make something up to make it look like you might be able to believe it. Stop rebelling against God. Your atheist hobby might be cool to your friends, but you'll have nothing to brag to your friends about when you're all bobbing in a lake of fire. Besides, my best friend Jesus is way cooler than any of your friends. And what's better, he can be your best friend too (I think)!

Interesting. I thought there was only one type of light, the kind that emanates from an energy source and is made out of photons. How many other types of light are there? Which types of light does this theory work with, and which type of light does the sun produce?
What about the part where I confirmed the spectrometer findings using the inverse squares law? Does the inverse squares law only work with "certain types" of radiation, and not the kind the sun produces?

This goes right back to the old question of which is further away...the sun, or Florida. I can't see Florida from here but I can see the sun.

God does it all.

Joshua 23:15
Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

Bob,
Are you smoking "reefer"
Leviticus 26:27-29
27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

What about lions and tigers - we seem to survive despite them...
Bob, I'm beiginning to see that you've been led astray by listening to so-called science on the TV but you didn't take it all in.
Wouldn't it be a lot easier for you just to accept that God works wonders?

What about lions and tigers - we seem to survive despite them...
Indeed, for a couple of reasons.
- They do not appear all over the world.
- They are afraid of humans, ofcourse.
- There are some exceptions. There are far more people than said animals. If we lived together with dinosaurs, we would not be the dominant species on earth.
- We can actually stand up to these animals.
Some reasons why we would not survive with dinosaurs. - Dinosaurs appeared all over the planet, mostly because there was one big continent. ( I know you probably don't believe me.)
- Humans would be insanely easy targets for any dinosaur.

Are you a twelve year old? You might want to go back to coloring books of dinosaurs.
