After the Republican Party splits, we'll have a RINO wing and a Trump wing. This is what we've always wanted for years. I don't know why a split would be so bad - we pick up the Centrists and leave the RINOs and Extreme Leftists out in the cold.

Parties don't split - not in a first-past-the-post system. In theory, regional 3rd parties can be in control of local governments, and/or can use the two major parties as coalitions.

In reality, the critical mass of voters are too lazy-minded and politically-illiterate to understand such advanced concepts. The electorate is so ignorant its thinking cannot move beyond the intuitive, stone-age politics that is hard-wired (by God) into the human brain.

In short, the electorate thinks that all government and culture is controlled by an all-powerful tribal chieftain called "the president" and the way to turn your tribal chieftain into "the president" is to have the biggest and loudest mob.

Splitting parties does not lead to a bigger, louder mob. Therefore parties will not split.

I think you are on to something, here, Dr. Toole. We in the Trump wing need to have our own funding campaigns crowding out whatever the Party is trying to do. When the Party has to ask our wing for money we will be able to convert it to a True Christian political party.

Just think how pleased Jesus will be if we raise money and save souls at the same time.
