Hello everyone. -

Hello ladies and gentlemen.
I have to admit that I am a bit afraid to post this introduction since I would be what you called unsaved thrash due to several reasons, yet I wish to assure you that I am here to gain a greater understanding of your way of life.
I am 21 years old and from Finland, the god-forsaken country. Both my parents are white though and my father is a proud American citizen, born and raised in the States. He has taught me how to appreciate firearms and he is far from your typical alcohol-abusing halfwit of a Finn. My mother has given birth to me and my brother and raised us to respect and honor religion, far from what other Finnish children has learned from their lazy, unhonorable wrecks of parents. I have to say that I really despise this country and would like to move to America as soon as possible.
I am probably what you would call a lost soul, although I am not an atheist, agnostic or any other god-denier, I have simply not found God yet. Therefor I'd want to ask you all about how you found him and at what age you were? I would in a way love to share the faith that all of you have found and I am to be honest jealous that you've found God and such a nice community as this forum, the only thing that prevents me from joining is my family due to my great love for them. I am unfortunately 100% convinced that I'd be unable to convince them that this is the right way of life and I do not have the heart to abandon them since they've always been there for me when I've needed support.
Unlike all the other rude, not yet conviced people who visit this forum, I'd like to end my introduction by showing my greatest respect to every one of you. I am not sure if you would accept this wish of goodwill from thrash like me but it is worth a try. Thank you for taking the time to read this wall of text!

Lets cut to the chase, Aaron.
Are you interested in walking the path of life with Jesus at your side or do you plan to cut and run like the rest of your country men (we know who you sided with in WWII).
Why as your father thrown out of the US of A?
If you want all of the stories about how Jesus has touched us, please use teh search function. Please do not be as lazy as the swish.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Thank you for the swift reply, James.
I am absolutely interested in walking the path of life with Jesus by my side, I just haven't found him yet I suppose. I have no plans to act like my "countrymen" since I despise them and wish to become an American citizen as soon as possible.
As for my father, he wasn't actually thrown out from America, his mother decided to move to this damned country for some strange reason. I do believe that it had something to do with my grandfather, although my questions will remain unanswered since they're both long gone and my father swears that he never got to know why either.
I am terribly sorry for not making proper use of the search function, I'll make sure not to repeat this mistake in the future.

All understandable, intelligible responses, thank you.
Jesus is with you now, He has been since the moment of your birth. He is waiting for you to turn to Him and completely give yourself to Him. An easy test to see if the time has finally come is to stand outside on the sidewalk at your Church. Close your eyes. Put your hands out straight in front of you. Ask Him to hold you. Roll back on your heels. If your head hits the sidewalk, God knows you are not committed to Him. If He prevents you from falling, you know Jesus is with you.
Read your KJV. Live by it. Follow it as it is written, do not try to twist its' words. Remember, what you think or care about means nothing. It is only what God wants and expects of a Christian that matters.

Thank you James for telling me how to futher increase my understanding and love for Jesus.
I am going to study the KJV in all of my spare time from now on and I am also going to perform the test you described as soon as I feel that I am ready for it.
I suspect that it may take a while since I am not a very fast reader but I am ready to dedicate myself to one hundred percent since this feels like a new beginning for me. Once again, thank you, I am most grateful for your response.
