Adoption is a special thing. Studies have shown (I just can't find it right now) that an adopted child is a happier, healthier child IF that home is a True Christian™ environment filled with discipline, restrictions, and reproach with a Christ-like flair.
Everyone hates the homosexual (again, I have research for this somewhere) and while a little more tolerated, the lizzybun woman is also despised horribly. So I was thinking. If hatred is akin to murder (1 John 3:14-15) and the Bible says thou shalt not kill (which it does)then are we not sinning when we hate the homer? So why not adopt the homer as a part of our family - for instance, as a brother - and then we will hate them in a Christ-like fashion (Matthew 10:35).
This makes all the more sense in light of 1 John 4:19-20. No. Wait. So Christ wants to turn us against...but then he says whoever hates...well let me think about this one a little more and I'll get back to you. I know the perfect Word of God is not only food for the soul but is above any reproach, so it has to make sense. It's just me not being able to put it together just now because I was out ministering to the effeminate and innately disordered VERY late last night. Praise God
