Please Pray For Kim Davis, True Christian™ Hero -
09-02-2015, 04:39 AM
Please Pray full time and heartily for Kim Davis, who, at her 4th husband's direction, is holding the line on queers getting married in Kentucky.
Quote:
Federal judge summons antigay Kentucky clerk and her staff to contempt hearing on Thursday
Lawyers filed a motion Tuesday morning to hold Kentucky’s Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in contempt of court for refusing to obey the bevy of court orders against her and provide marriage licenses for same-sex couples.
UPDATE: Kim Davis says in statement: ‘This has never been a gay or lesbian issue. It is about marriage and God’s Word.’
The Courier-Journal said that Davis’ request for a stay from the U.S. Supreme Court was denied on Monday and yet, the rigidly Christian clerk reported for work on Tuesday and continued to refuse “under God’s authority” to fulfill her duties.
The Associated Press said that Davis and her staff have been ordered by U.S. District Judge David Bunning to appear in federal court on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. to explain themselves.
Rowan County residents David Moore and David Ermold have been trying to obtain a marriage license from Davis’ office for weeks, only to be rebuffed again and again by Davis and her staff, who say that their Christian principles will be violated by doing what the courts have mandated.

The persecution is hot and thick here, Brothers. Drop to your knees now.

Such devotion! This woman is an inspiration for all True Christians™. My prayers go out to this fine citizen who will surely be made a martyr by the corrupt LIEberal judicial system.

Yes! It is Harsha Shah here. I am also thinking that we should always be praying for everyone. Or course, we don't know how your god is feeling about this person or the issue, yes, so we can be praying in a manner that is leaving the decision to your God. "Please let this person be at peace with herself and in harmony with others and please make her decisions compassionate and caring even if they are different from what she currently believes". That way it is not us who are deciding what should be done. Yes. I hope I am not offending anyone but I think this could be a good prayer for non-violence. Yes.

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak."Yes. Women are saving lives. It is time we are speaking! Yes!

I've highlighted a bit for you. And YES, WE DO KNOW because God has told us. The Scripture has been quoted frequently.
However there is an additional point you seem to be unaware of:
DELIVERING UNTO SATAN
SOURCE: KJV
I Corinthians 5:4-5 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
I Timothy 1:18–2:1 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme. I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; The sentiments expressed in your post derive from a religious obsession with becoming a temple prostitute, available for gratification to any passer-by and probably calling herself a "goddess" floomphed on a cushion bedecked with flowers. Tendrils curl from smouldering incense mingled with licentious musk. Potentate or barrow-boy, husband, wife or really I have no idea what goes on in such places but nothing would surprise me and from what I can make out never having given the subject much thought all are welcome and queuing systems do not apply. Unless a private booking is made I suppose.
None of that is new as we recognise when Paul condemns fornication of divers kinds and I want to point out how in the 2nd passage he exhorts prayer for all men. The word used is ἀνθρωπων. Men. This is different from what you recommended honestly the demons must really have you going can't you think of anything else?
Similarly, when homosexuals think it's OK to get married to one another in combinations we can't even dream of but which are unlikely to be restricted to any single species due to their eagerness for doing everything God has commanded we not do and that's on the list so must be on the table too it follows and I'm feeling like there's insects crawling under my skin just thinking about it, we know God's position. It's spelled out in The Bible and the consequences are laid bare. It's not "an issue" it's explicit and abominable SIN and I would urge you to contact a Pastor for instruction in these matters before posting any more libidinous twaddle and to seek exorcism at your earliest convenience.

I am praying for Kim, but I can no longer look at pictures of her so that I avoid the sin of lust and envy.

Kim Davis is a call to all of us to devote ourselves to civil disobedience. If it takes violence to keep homers from taking over and ruining marriage, violence is what it will be.

You'd think in God's Country we could ask for our rights without having to stoop to violent protest. Mr. Davis said it best, "We just want the same rights they have. They say, 'We're gonna make you accept us whether you want to or not.' Well, we don't want all this forced on us."

Indeed. They say not to worry, but mark my words. One day our children will be forced to gay-marry people of the same sex or face imprisonment just like Mrs. Davis is.

Outside the post office in my neighborhood, there were three nancy boys with a petition they were planning to give to the Pope during his visit here. It said, "Make it Canon Law that Priests MUST Perform Same-Sex Weddings!" I was filled with righteous indignificationalism and I said, "Hey, Buster (and I poked him in the chest), I came here to get a postage stamp so I could mail my tithes, and I am also an ex-cathylick. So take your petition and wipe your demon-filled rectum with it, because GOD is in control, not your pope." And I then sneered at him, real snarly but Christ-like.
His gay buddy lisped, "Now just you stop! We are here in peace and trying to share God's love. Get away or I'll call a cop!" So I snarled again, still Christ-like but more in the way Christ was when He threw people out of the temple. And I said, "Hey, I am peaceful too, because I follow JESUS, not some guy in a white dress!" And then he spit on me.
So I went to the hospital to be tested for the AIDS, because who knows what was in that spittle - but the nurse and doctor said I was fine. When the doctor asked me why they spit on me, and I told him, he said, "Well, maybe you should keep your opinions private."
Guess what? I snarled at him, too, all Christ-like and I walked out with the knowledge that I had pleased GOD. Hallelujah.

I believe that this incident exemplifies the great gulf between the lives of Christians who live in relatively Godly locations and those who are somehow forced to live in a place like New York City.
If this spitting incident had occurred here in Texas, the doctors would have disinfected you and called the authorities. The homosexuals in question would have been arrested by the police and possibly beaten. Had you decided to decided to simply draw your revolver and shoot them, there would be a more thorough disinfection and no charges for disturbing the peace or firing off a revolver. All these remedies are unlikely, though, as the first person they presented the petition to would probably have already shot them.
We just don't allow that kind of behavior in these parts.
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

Kim Davis was a clerk in the marriage license department. When a pair of homers asked for a marriage license she did what she knew Jesus wanted her to do--told them NO.
She lost her job. Now, years later, the court says she owes the homers $100,000. WHAT FOR?? How can someone be penalized for preventing sin?
This is surely going to go down as one of the most outrageous injustices in our history.

"In God We Trust", the official motto of the USA, should be the Guiding principle here, NOT the constitution which, unlike the immutable KJV Bible, gets frequently ammended. I believe we are up to 27 so far. Who knows what is next?
Phil
58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring k upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

So may complaints. Always about "different value systems" which do actually exist and there are places where they're the law of the land. God never requires everyone to follow His demands and nobody has to. But for some reason the complainers would rather stay in the places they don't like and complain, when they could easily go somewhere their nonsense was de rigueur among like minded souls with whom no Christian would associate willingly.
For example, did The Israelites like living in Egypt? No. Did they whine, grizzle or complain? No. They left. Were all the Egyptians required to go with them and live according to God's commandments? No. (Admittedly there were no commandments at that stage but the point remains: whatever The Israelites had done, then did or were about to do had insufficient appeal for a mass exodus of Egyptians – who in fact are still there.) The same applies to the Chinese. Many do leave China I believe and many do become Christians, living in Christian countries. They do not complain that the new, local value system is offensive to Confucius and require everyone else to follow his stuff or pay $100,000.
Satan is not like that. He wants everyone everywhere to live satanic lives, as God describes being very revolting to Himself (and therefore to Christians) but for those who disagree, whose ideas differ from God's, perhaps they need to explain where God got it wrong?
Then perhaps find somewhere not built upon His World View and live there. I know I wouldn't like it.

I mean, I feel bad for her but is it really our problem? Ditto for the losers who FAILED to insurrect the United States congress and ended up in jail. They messed up, they lost in court, aaaaaand that's not my problem. Is Kim Davis a hero? I prefer heroes that don't get sued and owe their life savings to a gay couple. She can just sign up for welfare and steal our tax money like all the other leeches. I hate needy losers - go and ask Jesus for help and leave us the HELL alone. Not a hero in my book.

You have a point there, Dr. Tooley. As an operative within the Christian faith she is not the brightest porchlight on the block. There are various other ways she could have handled this. For example, she could have made up her own "permit to sin" not affiliated with the county. The homers would not have noticed it was not a marriage license.
My view is we should pray she finds the $100,000 she needs without asking Landover Baptist.

Oh, well; now, this is so very kind of you, dear Brother Dr. Toole, and I do thank you — wholeheartedly — for being in touch with Miss Cookie to set up financial aid for Miss Davis. One can only hope and pray that this will do the world of good for Miss Kim, after all that she's been through, what with invasive, untrue, FAKE NEWS coverage of her stand for the . I mean, how hard must it have been for Kim Davis to go through all of that, including going to jail, and then to be constantly harassed for her beliefs? And, now, a lawsuit on top of everything else?!
And, as usual, those LIE-berals over at the Clinton News Network are not going easy on Miss Davis, as they continually inspire DEMON-rats everywhere to come up with horrid nonsense, such as this:

You're very welcome, Sister Iz. Fortunately we keep a few LLCs registered in the Cayman Islands which are structured in full compliance with Cayman Island tax laws (i.e. none). I took the liberty to borrow against anticipated donation amount to rent a vacation retreat - conveniently in the Cayman Islands - and had it stocked with brandies and cigars for platinum tithers and above to offer thoughts and prayers to Kim in comfort. I also sent an invite to Clarence Thomas - he's very popular on the circuit, and cheap.
