I can't tell you how many times someone has pitched to me the idea of a mobile home park in Freehold. They will say, "More property taxes, more people to help pay for your water and sewer infrastructure, etc. etc." I always reply, "We don't allow trailer trash in Freehold."
On the national news almost daily are stories of trailer parks originally started by local firms when cities were small. Back then the trailer parks were close to the center of town. That land is now valuable. The trailer parks are now being bought by corporations. These large firms will clear out the trashy trailers and build big buildings that will make them big profits. National stories are all tears shed by low-income people now in these parks who say they have no place to live.
Trailer-park trash need to know bull dozers pushing cheap housing into a pile to burn is what has made America great. People who can only afford really cheap housing need to save and buy themselves decent places.
I've been telling other Mayors for years to get rid of their trailer parks. Now, Godly Capitalism is doing the job some Mayors should have done long ago.
