Spare the rod.... perhaps too much -
01-16-2007, 08:59 AM
As I walk in my neighborhood I see hundreds of children a day. It makes me want to cry seeing many of the things these kids do. Why, just the other day there was a teenage girl out by the road, whoring as usual. Her mother came to the door and told her to come in. The girl then started shouting obseneties at her own mother. It goes on and on. Dozens of boys standing in the road, blocking traffic, smoking reefer, listening to unGodly rap music.
In some cases you can probably blame the parents. In the majority however, you need to blame LIE-berals. They've broken into every part of parental rights. They now tell us how to raise our children, and at the front of the line is Hillary "Satan" Clinton.
I'll give you a personal experience of these LIE-berals and false religion. I was at the store, and my then 4 year old daughter was throwing a fit because I wouldn't buy her candy. Screaming, dragging her feet, ect ect. I didn't even hit her. I had to practically drag her along, and put her into the car. Well, this nosy LIE-beral started shouting, "Jesus loves you!" at me. I nodded my head at the woman. This womam followes us home, then phoned the police. About 10 minutes after I got home, there were two police men on my doorstep. They then took my 4 year old daughter outside, asked her to show her arms and legs, then started asking her questions. I heard some of these questions, and was appaled. I won't utter the questions on this Godly forum, but the word needs to go out. We need to get these LIE-beral athiests out of our houses, bedrooms, and schools before it's too late.
"If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. . . . And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the manservant's do."

That's why I no longer teach in public schools. How's your daughter these days? It's about time for a new term at the Landover Camp for Christian youth.
Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Here is a portion of an essay I wrote some time back.....
Kids now shoot other kids at school now, and people blame it on the guns. WRONG!! It’s not the guns fault. It’s the governments fault. How you may ask? For the last 44 years the state and federal government has systematically taken away all parental rights of parents to actually raise their children.[3] If you actually do discipline your children there are police on your doorstep within fifteen minutes. I don’t doubt or deny that there are people who go to far with “discipline”. Do all parents have to have their rights to raise their children taken away? It’s another joke of being American. Schools can now tell parents that before their child can come to school they must medicate them. Yell at your child some time in a public place because they’re throwing a tantrum. You’ll get dirty looks from every direction, and you might even get someone who follows you home to report you to the county. Spank your child? All it takes is for the child to say that you spanked them to a teacher, and you’ll have county services breathing down your neck by the end of the day. Be afraid everyone. There’s a whole generation of medicated children without any discipline coming up in the world.

I've thought of a good Christian school for both my daughters. Unfortunately, all the places close by, aren't the types of "religous" schools any sane person would send their children to. The closest is a cathylick school, and the other is mormund I believe. There is no choice there. I'd rather brave the public school system, than try out those options. For now my daughters are home schooled. I'll have to tell you the story of why I pulled out my oldest some time.

I think the title of your thread says it all, Brother Davidson. There are many, many times folks under the age of 30 need a good hard spanking or whipping. Although, I have limited respect for the (too liberal) James Dobson, he has managed to publish some useful advice in his book titled Dare to Discipline...
Follow a good procedure reflecting God's pattern of discipline and gospel restoration:- Take your child to a private place.
- Have him tell you specifically what he has done or failed to do. If he cannot, then you tell him and secure an acknowledgment from the child of what he has done.
- Confess your own sins, weaknesses, or infirmities in this area. Deal with him as a fellow sinner.
- Tell the child how many swats he will receive. (This is an important signal that you are in control of yourself.)
- Lay your child across your lap and spank on the buttocks.
- After you have spanked, take the child on your lap and hug him, telling him how much you care about him, how much it grieves you to spank him, and how you hope that it will not be necessary again.
- Have the child pray and ask God's forgiveness for disobeying. Also ask God for a change of heart to be different next time.
- Remind them that God forgives them and loves them (1 John 1:9).
- If necessary, have the child ask forgiveness of the offended party (sister, brother, etc.)

Praise Jesus! Thank you for that important quotation from Brother Dobson. It is my understanding that he continues to spend countless hours doing research into the subject, from every conceivable angle. Glory!!

It is my understanding that Brother Dobson has also inspired a cartoon character. Tell me, Mother Glynndie, is this truly him?

I appreciate your sense of humor, but I am very concerned that we show our support for Brother James Dobson. An event, which might alter the direction of humanity is approaching and we need his intervention. CONCERNED GLENDORA
