How Old is Too Old to Vote? -
10-17-2020, 03:15 PM
I've been reading with alarm news that senior citizens are turning against our President. They are voting early in large numbers and Sleepy Joe is claiming he will defend Social Security.
Senior Citizens, let me warn you. If you abandon Trump the next wave of Republican Party legislation will set an upper age limit on voting. We already have a lower age limit, ten year old children are not allowed to vote because they are too young to understand. Old people who have lost their faculties and vote for Democrats are no different.
What should be the upper limit? Let's watch the election numbers and figure that out. I'm thinking we will see a lot of improper voting among those over 80 years old. Should the cut off be lower? Let's wait and see.

Do you think a sliding scale would be possible? Maybe with a language test? There already exist similar tests for sobriety, other than a breath test, standing on one leg, walking in a straight line, following spots with the eyes, that sort of thing. When voting it's important to be able to follow things with one's eyes.

Thank you, Sister Mitza. Yes some cognitive test would be helpful. Even better, though, would be a consistent record of Republican Party voting. It is not rational for one to vote against his own interests. When old people do this by voting for Democrats it would be kind for government to withhold their voting rights.
An example is social security. Trump has taken the first steps of eliminate it. If it were eliminated senior citizens would be motived to work later and save more. This, in turn, would be good for their physical health. It is a win win idea. But, human nature being what it is, seniors are voting for slough and laziness, i.e. Democrats.

I would suggest an initial upper age limit of 75, to be raised by one year annually on President Trump's birthday, during his lifetime. This would ensure that our dear President retained his vote, while Sleepy Joe would be excluded from cheating by voting for himself. There should definitely be a younger limit for women, who lose what little mental capacity they ever had by the age of 50. To be on the safe side, maybe let's put that at 45?
Some sort of cognitive test for all voters, to check their intentions, is essential. We know that the President can ace those!

Yes, Sister Joanna, checking intentions and judging competence are one and the same. We can see into brains and ascertain what, if anything, is in there by hearing a an old person's intentions.

How about instead of an age limit, there be a litmus test for voter eligibility? I have no doubt the Godly President Trump and Mitch McConnell if they put their heads together could get a solid piece of legislation in place especially now that the Supreme Court is a 6-3 conservative majority.

Until 1870 only white males where allowed to vote. That never should have changed!
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

You are so right, Brother Man! White men are the smartest of all humans and should be the only ones allowed to vote!
Also, my husband, sons, and I have been praying for you to catch the China virus. Many prayers have been lifted up on your behalf.

I'm not really a fan who anyone who talks badly about my President. The whole idea of voting against the President seems deeply unpatriotic. The founding fathers never could have forseen the depravity of abortion gangs going around killing future voters. And so here we are harvesting decades worth of unsown seeds struggling to produce enough Trump voters.
Of course I have no doubt 2020 will be a landslide for Trump but why is there even a doubt. What sane system allows itself to be sabotaged from within like this? I have been stressed for weeks whenever the fake news posts a fake poll showing the President losing. How inappropriate and rude. Our enemies (including France) see us as weak which makes me embarrassed let me tell you. I shouldn't have to feel like this.

Is voting compulsory in France? I think it is in Belgium.

I've always passed through Belgium as fast as possible but what you're describing sounds like separation of State & Government.
Biblical?
Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
