This is "Giving Tuesday." Don't Waste it on the Poor -
11-30-2021, 03:19 PM
In the U.S., today is called Giving Tuesday. It promotes giving money to charities. There was Black Friday for shopping, Cyber Monday and so on.
All during the Christmas Holidays liberals bring up their thing, "Don't forget the poor." We True Christians understand the poor better than liberals. We know the poor are lazy. Christmas is not the time to reward them for their laziness. It is, instead, the time to plant in their minds they can be a success instead of a failure by working harder.
This Christmas, give to Landover Baptist Church. I'll pitch another good charity, the National Rifle Association. Make your money count for something good.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Exactly so, dear Brother Mayor Hold! And, we mustn't forget the words of our beloved :
Matthew 26:11 " For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always."
And, so, it is obvious that it wouldn't matter how much we donated to charities for poor people — those beggars will be around forever!
And, it appears that our beloved President Trump is in agreement with that!

Oh for goodness' sake, do these people think we're MADE of money? Have they even seen what we in Godless Britain are expected to pay our staff? These figures are the current minimum wage PER HOUR!
Age 23 and over - $11.85
Age 18 to 20 - $11.10
Under 18 - $8.75 - that's a whole dollar above the US rate for all ages!
Okay, apprentices come slightly cheaper, but you're expected to train them to do their job while paying them!!!! Seriously, who has time for that?
Today I have given to my boys' orthodontist for sorting out a couple of baseball-acquired problems, to my husband's wine merchant and to the piano tuner. These are all hardworking people who have earned our generosity. And tomorrow we tithe.
As Jesus said (Matthew 13:12) For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

It's getting intolerable.
I mean, when do we not give to the poor? We give them their wages, we give them tax breaks and apparently now there's Giving Tuesday. All of this cuts into my bottom line.

I KNOW!
It's all getting to be a bit much, if you ask me. The poor are bringing this country to its knees. At the risk of sounding uncharitable, we all know where they're headed (to Hell), so I don't understand why they persist in hanging on and draining our country's coffers dry.
I mean, it used to be that they served a worthwhile purpose as menial labor. But thanks to automation, we don't really need them any longer. It makes me very impatient for Jesus's return, or the installment of a well-run, Republican-dominated government.

Here is an example of money for the poor being counterproductive. Some paid staff of a do gooder group organized a "cleanup of a homeless camp." You can see the perfectly good items they will throw in the dump.
The homeless people living in that camp did not need our Giving Tuesday money. They were doing just fine. They had couches, blankets and other items we have in our homes.
Now they will be moved into expensive subsidized housing. Why pay for housing of poor people when they can live for free down by the river?
They will get none of my money.

I'm sure Dr. Tool e will concur that outsourcing has been better at rendering previously productive Americans less so. Turns out, other countries' even poorer are even cheaper to exploit.

What bothers me is that they don't even try. Where's the can do spirit to compete with the threshing machine or the robotic assembly line, like Rocky Balboa defeating communism. I fear we are becoming a nation of snowflakes waiting around for a savior. Pfffft.

The ones living by the river will be the first to experience the rising tide lifting all boats. If only they would drop the negative attitudes. Nobody likes a whining ninny.

If a family in Bangladesh wants to sew my trousers for $1/day then that's their right. I'm sick of the government getting between me and my employees. What about the propriety of private contracts? What people will do for money is none of Joe Biden's business.

What kind of Christians are you? The poor need our help more than ever. I'm going to a charity fundraiser to give to the underprivileged.
My secret present is my beautiful black funeral gown I wore when Nonna passed. Now a little girl will have something pretty and elegant to wear.
See? It feels better to give than to get. That's a usual theme in my life, but in essence, it's a major theme in Christianity.
Acts 20:35
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Well, well, well; Miss Nettles — once again, our paths cross. I see that you're back for more excellent teaching from the glorious . And, so, it is here that you shall find the answers which you seek.
To answer your question, you should know (by now) that the servants of , here at , are the truest, people that you will ever encounter. If you think that you will find better elsewhere — you will not!

I think this might be an appropriate moment to mention 1 Timothy 5:8:
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

God Bless You, Sister Joanna. We all need to refocus on the phrase, "worse than an infidel." When we who have much give to those who have little were face the risk of hell in the afterlife.
We are even worse than the infidel poor people because we are encouraging them. We become infidels on steroids. Any of my wealthy colleagues here who want to face the wrath of God by giving to the poor are people who I will claim I don't know.

Acts 20:28-29 places this in context. The Apostle Paul is specifically talking about his flock, i.e. faithful Christians. Not just any random poor people. The weakest True Christians™ are the ones deserving of assistance. The ones with less than $500,000 net worth, whose European sports cars may be as old as the 2018 models, who cannot afford more than one or two servants, those are the poor unfortunate souls deserving of Christian charity.
