The "Poor" Can Live Like Kings on $4.50 a Day. -
09-28-2013, 04:53 PM
The CEO of Panara Bread, a big restuarant chain, is pulling a fast one on the gullible public.
Ron Shaich earns $4 million a year and thinks he can gain sympathy for lazy poor people by pledging to live on $4.50 a day for a week. He claims he is hungry all the time.
I don't know how Shaich is doing this, but I can tell him how to live well. Just go to your local supermarket and find the shelf with dry beans.
Buy a bag for a couple of bucks and you are fed for days. At the end of the week he would have a few dollars to invest. By the end of a year, he would be well on his way to financial independence.

All he needs to do is ask the beaners who work for him how to cook some rice and beans. Add 50 corn tortillas to that shopping list and you have tacos for the entire week.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

$4.50 a day sounds like an extravagant wasteful lifestyle to me.
A bullet costs less that one dollar and it's all you need to kill your dinner.

I'm shocked like the rest of you to learn that Ron Shaich is a commie. He's also a liar. Just look at what you can get for $4.48 at Wal-Mart:
Pedigree Canned Dog Food, 13.2 oz, 6 count
That's right a six-pack of delicious horse meat (labeled "ground beef") plus animal wastes and soy filler, for just $4.48. That will give you three meals a day for two days. And if all that wasn't enough, Ron could easily dig out some leftover food scraps from the garbage dumpsters behind a Taco Bell or Jack-In-The-Box.
Liberals always say that the USA is a wasteful country, and I reluctantly have to agree with them. You just wouldn't believe how much food Americans throw out. But the benefit is that even the so-called "poor" can enjoy a cornucopia of delicious and nutritious food that trickles-down to the trash bins. In fact, there is so much free food available for those who are willing to get out there and dig it up, I'm thinking that maybe we ought to tax that. It's not that I'm in favor of tax increases, but somebody has got to pay for my company's bailouts - how else are we going to create jobs?
Really, if anyone is actually going hungry in the USA, it's because of food stamps. It makes people so lazy and dependent on welfare that they won't even get off their duffs and look in the garbage dumpsters. Ronald Reagan often told us the story of a woman in Chicago who was getting three welfare checks, living in the Hilton Hotel and driving a Cadillac. I'm sure she's still out there, except now she's also eating caviar purchased with food stamps, and buying a yacht paid for by Obamacare.
Purchased (by illegal aliens) with Obamacare checks
It just makes my blood boil when I think of how hard I have to work. Yesterday I spent a whole 45 minutes in the office making phone calls to get the $3 billion California Teachers' Retirement Fund transferred into ultra-safe Zimbabwe government bonds, and all I got for my efforts was a lousy 5% service fee. That's right, 5% of $3 billion - it's practically nothing. Fortunately, I wasn't taxed since we did this via our Cayman Islands banks, but I swear, sometimes I think I'd do better to just live off of welfare.
Praise Jesus!

There is an urgent need at this moment to start classes across the U. S. for laid off government employees. They, too, can live well on $4.50/day.
I think a lot of these slough offs don't know where the dry bean isle is in their local super markets. The need a lesson in how to spell B-E-A-N-S. If they learn these skills, they won't need their useless jobs back.

They could also be directed to the dog food isle. Dog food is good enough for starving children in Africa, so it should be OK for other starving people as well.

It doesn't take much imagination to live on $4.50 a day. Many so called poor people are fat, which means they can spend significantly less on food (just eating less) without starving. In addition, insects and killer snails provide a healthy zero-cost alternative to cheap burgers.
While excessive safety regulation have driven up apartment rents to ridiculous levels, there is no rent if you live in sewers or in the woods. Some working places can also offer workers to spend nights on office, which is win win situation. Employers can wake employees with cold water (no more late arrivals), and the employees save on rent.
Regarding kids, it's amazing how much any parent can save if they spank their kids in public to stop tantrums, instead of giving the spoiled kid candy every now and then.

Not only can the poor live on 4.50 a day, but they can probably afford to go to bed with a black or Mexican prostitute every night as well.

I did an experiment. Tryed to live on 4.50 a day. More then plenty. I spent 50 cents on a bullet and went hunting. I prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ, and he provided me with a moose. I now have food for 15 days. That's 71,5$ to invest in a True Christian™ buisnes, like oil or nuclear pover plants. Those so called "poor" have no idea how good they have...

Ramen noodles only cost ten or fifteen cents per package.
You can eat like a glutton for a dollar a day and still have money left over for other needs.

That is good news for those of us who are poor. $4.50 seems affordable but are there many fast food menus that you can get for that? i doubt so. i have seen kfc, mcdonalds, popeyes, subway, jack in the box, sonic drive-in among others and their prices seem to be much more than that.

Please make a thread of your own in the " Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.
And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.
I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.

If you have to live on 4.50 $ a day, you would cook yourself rather than buy fastfood at a restaurant. This is a very poor example. Nevertheless

Friend, you are out of touch. Those that give to Jesus are cared for by God. Many days, I spend nothing yet dine on the finest cuts of meats. As a man, I never 'cook'. I do grill though.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

My wife clips coupons and hits the sales and feeds the five of us like royalty for less than $4.50 per day.
The only drawback is I have to listen to how well she did as I'm sitting in the driver's seat of our Chevy Suburban and she's loading the week's groceries into the back. I want to tell her she'd get it loaded more quickly if she would shut her yap, but I allow her this indulgence because I'm a softy sometimes.
I Kings 7:23
And he made a moulten Sea, ten cubites from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, & his height was fiue cubits: and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it round about.
New here? Desiring to be pleasing in the eyes of The Lord and His Followers?
Then do as directed by our esteemed Pastors and head on over to the Introductions subforum and make your first post there, friend. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus. Anything else you want to share with us about how Jesus has blessed you is welcomed too.
Are you a hater of God that believes He is a morally bankrupt monster? Read Why, you ask, is God so angry? to see that it is in fact you that is the monster that mercilessly and infinitely torments God.
Stop this relentless torturing of God and accept Jesus today!

It makes no difference how much you earn; it's how much you give. God promises that those who give will have an abundance.
Lk 6:38 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
2 Cor 9:6-7 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
This is exactly what we see when we take a look at the world around us. No one who tithes and gives generously to God's work has ever suffered financial hardship.
| Mt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Nice bit of Daily Bread you've shared there Brother Pim. Reminds me of a teaching I gave during Tithes & Offerings at last week's service. It's a little known fact that if all God's People gave their tenth on any given Sunday, and it be re-distributed by God's stewards, we would solve world poverty. Then the gospel would be preached in all the world. Then the end shall come. Even so come, Lord.

Ezekiel 23:19-20 "Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses."
