It turns out that the Arabs are not only infested with camel fleas but with superstitious nonsense as well.

A Jamaican-born (!) Canadian (!!) who abandoned Christ (!!!), Dr. Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips has written extensively on "Muslim exorcism". In these quaint rituals the Satan-deluded Muslims pretend to "cast out devils", or Jinns as they call them. Here is how one "sand-flea exorcist" described it, in an interview published in "Dr." Philips' book:

"...we address the jinnee, saying, “Fear Allaah!” I speak to it in the same way that I speak to a human. If he is in a state of convulsion, I speak directly to the jinnee. Otherwise, I recite over him some Qur’ânic verses. Sometimes it will manifest itself during the recitation and at other times it will hide...Women are most affected because the jinn love beautiful women. They may even have intercourse with them."

But the words of Jesus (whose Godhead the Muslims deny) show the idiocy of these "exorcisms":

And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? Matthew 12:26

Devil-worshippers cannot cast out devils. So we see that these crazy Muslims cannot be casting out devils because only Jesus can accomplish that great work. Jesus said,

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Matthew 12:28

Apparently the Muslims "beat the devil" out of some of the poor psychotics whom they "treat" -- but say they are beating the "jinn" instead.

"We do not beat the possessed human, but the jinnee which has possessed the human. And this requires a high level of skill and discernment to be able to accurately know who the exorcist is hitting...It should only be on the behind, the shoulders or the extremities of the hands of feet."

It is obviously a simpleminded fake. A True Christian exorcist who is down in the trenches wrestling real demons and doing the Lord's work every day would laugh this juvenile display of silliness right back to Hell where came from. Muslims are lost and in the depths of their empty souls they know it. Jesus said,

He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Matthew 12:30

On a happier note, I believe that the good brother Revrggreen may be putting together an informational piece on Landover's efforts to combat real demonic possession. Thank God we can expect no superstitious nonsense in a good Christian ministry!
