A member of my congregation brought this to my attention.

I just can't believe the gall of these people.

Kaiser Permanente is secretly trying to get clients to abandon their faith. Just look at these questions!

First, they want you to state your belief. Then, "Review the evidence", "Recognize distorted thinking", and "Put your thinking into perspective"!

All of this is carefully crafted to make people insert, say, "God created the universe in six days", or "Jesus loves me unconditionally as long as I obey His every command", then start questioning the evidence!

Further down the page, they want you to "Consider the probabilities", first of which is "The likelihood of this happening is pretty low"!

Reasoning and critical thinking were invented by the Illuminati to challenge not only the Catholic Church, but actual Christians as well. All faith based organizations, and the very project of having beliefs independent of states of the world, are undermined by curiosity and intellectual activity of every sort. It is no wonder that in this age of common sense and civility, churches have begun passing out free cappuccino to their congregations and stopped passing around a collection plate.

This is disgusting. This is the very reason that Jesus Himself said over 2,000 years ago:

Anyone who wants to know Jesus more needs to put aside such folly as critical thinking and higher reasoning skills and think like a child. Does a child know where food comes from, aside from "the fridge"? Does a child understand money or consequences? No! We as Christians must put aside the search for knowledge and understanding and instead focus on what we KNOW to be true: the Bible and nothing else!
