So your own husband thinks you aren't worth the bother. Why should anyone else, if you can't be bothered to read the Bible?

You call that an introduction? How about sharing something about your life, how you found Jesus and which church you attend?
Do you have your husband's permission to be here?

Why does your husband hate you so much that he'd entrust your education to complete strangers over the internet?
Why haven't you read the Bible yet?
How have you not drowned in the shower?
How did your father spend the 50 shekels?

Well since your church doesn't seem to have a web page, can you please explain what a "United Pentecostal" church is?
A United church seems the complete opposite of a Pentecostal church, so I'm not sure how you blend the two.

Its not UPC. Its a holiness based church. Women can't cut hair, wear paints, jewery or makeup.

Wow, it's like pulling teeth.
Okay, so we know
- Your name is Joy
- You're 24
- You live in Missouri
- You go to a "United-Pentecostal" church
- You have no children
- Your husband spanks you
- He will be checking on you
And it's taken 7 posts to get that much out of you.
Okay, maybe if I set out the questions one by one, you'll be able to answer them.
- What is your favorite Bible verse
- How did you come to find Jesus
- How long have you been married
- Why haven't you read the Bible
- How can you consider yourself Christian if you don't read the Bible
- Does your husband not tell you what you are being punished for
At least that will be a start.

Oh, yeah, "working". If I'd had the misfortune to marry someone as dim as you, I'd "work" all the time, too.

And if he's a Bible-believing Christian, you won't be able to sit comfortably for months.

If you'd read the Bible, you would know. How about you go do that, and stop wasting people's time insisting on being spoonfed?

I don't have one. Been married for a few months. I don't consider myself a christian. And yes he does. I shared it in one of the other forums.

I managed to locate a couple of other "Truth Tabernacles" in Missouri (Boonville, Springfield, Brookfield, Hillsboro, House Springs, and Portageville), but they're all UPCs.

Okay, I'll ask you then since you seem familiar with these false churches.
How can a church be a "United" (believe or don't believe, doesn't matter as long as you're a "good person") "Pentecostal" (roll around on the floor with snakes babbling like an epileptic). The two just don't seem to mix.

Are you drinking? Do you drink when your husband is away?
Well at least we got two questions answered.
- What is your favorite Bible verse
- How did you come to find Jesus
- How long have you been married
- Why haven't you read the Bible
Why would a "christian" man marry you if you were unsaved?
2nd Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And how can you go to a church and know nothing of the Bible?

That's no reason to not have read the Bible.
I'm not a Christian, but I've read the Bible.
I'm not a Muslim, but I've read the Ko'ran and several collections of Hadith.
I'm not a Bhuddist, but I've read many Sutras.
I'm not a Hindu, but I've read the Vedas, (many of the) Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, etc.
You're not a Christian BECAUSE you haven't read the Bible, not the other way around.
