Rome Fired a Priest. An opportunity for Us -
12-21-2022, 10:46 PM
The Catholic Church in Rome fired a Priest in the U.S. The priest is head of a group called Priests for Life.
Rome is angry at Frankie Pavone because he has been raising millions from Catholics and spending it for whatever he happens to enjoy. The money managers in Rome want to have that money for themselves. They can't pay for the Pope's helicopter with thin air.
I don't see why we cannot bring Frankie Pavone into Landover Baptist Church and let him move that Catholic money here. His organization might have to change its name to "Guys for Life" since he is no longer a priest. He could keep a little of money--he probably lives quite well.

I thought this was par for the course for Catholics, but only one thing is forever, they will change the rules whenever they fancy.
Notice how they changed the rules on the unbaptized with their "Purgatory" fan fic:
Eternity in purgatory? No, saved souls!

Who are these "Priests for Life"? It seems our friend Frankie is still alive but not a priest - typical of the catlick church - one rule for the nomeklatura and another for the basic grade!
You say the guy's got money, Mr Mayor. God's work cannot be done without having to deal with money: God did his work inside a week, and now, because of Eve, we have to do it - although with a joyous heart.
It seems to me that if this Frankie Pavone* brings a generous love offering as bona fides of his desire to do something good in the is world, then we would be churlish to turn him away at the stable door, so to speak. If he turns out to be unsaveable, then the money will compensate for the time he has caused God to waste.
*Frankie Pavone? Really? Is he a member of "The Mob"? Do some checks with the usual sources, would you, Mr Mayor.

Thank you, Pastor Bathfire. I did check with sources for Italian gangster connections and found something VERY suspicious.
Frankie Pavone was born in Port Chester, NY. When one looks at the City Government, Italian names jump out. Its most famous resident was a sculpturer named Luigi Del Bianco. Even if Frankie was involved with some in the Italian mob, we need to remember he supported President Trump.

Thanks for that, Mayor. It’s at times like this that we need to look into the soul of the man to see what is true and what is false. Personally, I can see Frankie as a good piece of publicity, e.g. a slot on Fox News “Catlick rejects the pope in Favor of Landover’s Truth” has a certain ring to it.
On the other hand, you know the saying “Once a Catlick…” - I wonder if that is stolen from “Once Saved, Always Saved”… But I digress. I need to speak to that Belgian Pastor (Pastor Wide-Out? Or something like that) who could find out everyone’s Social Security number, hack their computer, tap their lines, intercept their cell phone calls, find his Faceplace, WhatsApp,Telegram, etc., account, have a close look at bank accounts, put a tracker on the car, delve into the IRS records, fit hidden cameras, and set the subject up with a woman, or man, of their choice, etc. (Judges:1:24)
In his favour, (i) he has shown that the pope is only interested in money and tried to divert some of it to better causes. (ii) He knows what it’s like to speak to a crowded auditorium (iii) He can rattle a plate.

Concerning different outcomes for different categories of priest, and there are an awful lot of categories, is it really 8 years† since the similar episode (about $50 million) of Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst? His development of what looks like a residence with private chapel (the black building) and bespoke works of fine art, sculpture, stained glass panels and the sort of fountain you'd expect from an artist. With a museum facility. So he was "suspended" which seems to mean receiving his pay without having to do anything. After a while he resigned and was promoted to some Vatican position, neither confirmed nor denied here:
Quote:
The Vatican press office refused to comment on the appointment when asked by the Register last week, neither confirming nor denying it had taken place, although Archbishop Georg Gänswein unofficially confirmed the news to Vatican Magazin on Feb. 7
. . . Many believe Tebartz van Elst was the victim of a smear campaign and forced out because of his orthodoxy . . . The allegations against 55 year-old Tebartz van Elst also stand in contrast to the high spending of the archdiocese of Munich and Freising which has just spent $150m on a new diocesan service center. Cardinal Reinhard Marx, who heads the archdiocese and is president of the German bishops' conference, has also just had his residence renovated at a cost of $9m, paid for by the state of Bavaria. But unlike Tebartz van Elst, the media has paid little attention to the high spending.
The official at the Pontifical Council told the Register Bishop Tebartz van Elst's position is a new one, and that he had been appointed because his "background is in catechesis."
|
Now I wouldn't leave something as neither confirmed nor denied without checking out the official records. You may do so here:
The Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelisation appears to be an international organ, comprising among other elements an International Council for Catechesis, highlighting the different outcomes for different categories of priest as suggested in an earlier post.

Didn't Rudy Giuliani have something to do with the mob at one point? He supported Trump too. But he's pro-life. So I'm nor sure which one of the two God would be angrier with. Both men are prime candidates for conversion to Christianity. Frankie "Two-Shoes" Pavone stands opposed to feminism and women's bodily autonomy, so what's he worshipping a goddess (Mary) for? He needs to submit himself to Jesus.
What if Jesus had been aborted? How terrible would this world be?
