Freehold Public Schools Will Continue to Teach Christianity -
02-12-2022, 03:18 PM
A public school in West Virginia required all students to attend a Christian revival in its school. What could be wrong with that? If some classes in whatever else is taught there were cancelled so children could learn about Jesus, it's a profitable tradeoff.
Teaching Christianity in public schools is more important today than ever before. Today's parents are more unlikely to go to church so children are lost forever. While they are locked in a public school is an opportunity that must not be lost.
In West Virginia some $mart a$$ed students staged a protest. They said religion and public schools should not be mixed. That is simply wrong. The mission of public schools in to serve the public. Saving student from an eternity in hell is in their interests.
Taxpayers in Freehold should not worry. Bible study, testimony and pray are a part of every school day in Freehold Public Schools. There will be no protests about separation of church and state. Freehold PD will see to that.

I hear some people talk about the Constitution and "Freedom From Religion" as part of the deal. Obviously, that only applies to bad religions that are not Christian. Our law-makers really need to get on the ball and make it clear that if you're not Christian, you really aren't American. And Christians everywhere who are sincere and informed regarding their faith need to express support of America.

Obviously I homeschool my children because I love them and refuse to let the government raise them without morals, the Love of Jesus, or even good old fashioned common sense. Still, I often go to the public schools to offer my help. Yesterday I had a sign that simply read, "Free hugs for atheists."
Hundreds of students came up for hugs. Most of them admitted they hadn't felt the touch of another human in years. One even broke down in tears and said, "Thank you! This is all I needed to give up my life of atheism, cheating, lying, and drugging. Tomorrow I will go to church and dedicate my life to God!"
Atheists don't need "scientific evidence" or "irrefutable facts" to give up atheism. All they need is some love and kindness. Christ invented Love and Kindness, the history books all say so and historians all agree, even those who are not Christians themselves. We do a terrible disservice to our country when we deny children the Love and Kindness of the LORD.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Thank you for that bold, inspiring and authentic testimony, Sister Mary! I had no idea of how cold, withholding and downright abusive atheist parents could be.
Since we can't figure out a way to prevent atheists from becoming parents, the least we can do for their innocent children is to introduce them to Jesus and True Values™ in the public schools. Of course, the parents may object, but they get so many freebies paid for by hard-working, tax paying Christians that they really need to shut up.
It's bad enough that they are constantly trying to interfere with how we raise our children.

Powerful testimony indeed, Sister Mary. When we transform our public institutions into places that win atheists for Jesus we are doing what our Founding Fathers intended.
I like to think of "separation of church and state" this way. The church is a private institution bringing sinners to Jesus. Government, such and the City of Freehold, is a separate institution. Though separate, it is doing the same thing, bringing sinners to Jesus.

Should schools teach what's wrong with the other religions? Many students investigate on their own or by reading one-sided books, often with friends who may be just pretending so they can sign them up. How often do weirds on the street corner hand out pamphlets inviting students along to the "temple" or "ashram" or offer "free introductory courses" for yoga and meditation?
Forewarned is forearmed. Classes teach about hygiene and poisons but spiritual hygiene is even more important.

I don't get this as an example of "Church and State"
For one,
That preacher hasn't got a church - he wanders around speaking to who'll listen to the Good News.
For two,
This isn't a lesson in class time.
For three,
All those kids were born Christians, and so it's only like reminding them of their own earlier, less troubled days.
For four,
What harm can it possibly do anyone? As Jesus said, "If there is no God, you've lost nothing, and if there is, then you'll go to heaven."

Brilliant as always, Pastor Bathfire. Both government and a church should do what is in the interests of their constituents. One and the same. Saving souls for Jesus is their mutual goal.
A fine prayer to God before the start of a public meeting is as important as a pastor's prayer on Sunday morning.

Jesus reminded us to pray at all times. I've heard comments saying in effect that religious instruction can take place in the home but not at school. They want a secular education – and of course parents can teach important spiritual Truths before meals, when driving in the car, by participating in Church services or at a Sunday School. But what if the parents are NOT Christians? How would THEIR children be saved?
Hell and why we deserve it is very important in the path out of loneliness, sin and despair. Wiccans deny sin (for example) and by associating together in groups can pretend they are not lonely or despairing. Dancing around, laughing, drinking mead and having parties with jolly cakes
it's just a façade to make-believe they aren't empty inside. There are other religions, none of them acknowledging Jesus without Whom no answer for emptiness can be possible. Schools provide a unique opportunity for introducing learner groups to the message of Salvation. Those opposing this important message about reality, the most important message, really need to explain why.
It may be the only chance they get.

Excuse me Mr Mayor, but with the lieberals trying to change school boards to the left, do we have any worry about that happening here? I can make signs and look up addresses of certain homes if this is indeed a worry.
