While I understand that "slut shaming" isn't PC in our liberal world, let's be honest here: Jesus slut shames, so should we! Sometimes, it is only through public shame and humiliation that some people will finally get the message.

True Christians™ know that our bodies, like our minds and hearts, belong to God. These are to be used for His glory, not our own.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1

Is it reasonable service then to say with our clothes and our manners: "My body is Yours, Jesus. Let me just use this body to tantalize men to look at me with a lustful gaze. Wait a moment while I jut out my bosom as I walk past these men. Please allow me to wiggle my buttocks enticingly to stir the passions in those fellows over there. Be with me Jesus, as I make men lust after you." Because that's what immodest women do. Essentially, they make men go gay for Jesus.

Paul tells us he wants women to dress modestly, appropriately for those profess to worship God (1 Timothy 2:9-10). God personally told him that He also calls us to purity. He wants us women to set an example for the believers, in part through our purity (1 Timothy 4:12). Purity is a high standard. Any impurity makes the entire vessel impure, and therefore useless garbage.

We know since Eve walked the earth, women have had minds of their own, minds that go against God's Will, and in turn wreak havoc in the world around them. In His Infinite Wisdom and Mercy, the LORD is moved to utilized shaming to help us behave in ways that do not embarrass or humiliate Him.

From the very beginning, the shame of Adam and Eve was so great that God took revenge upon all mankind (Genesis 3:16-17). We know nakedness is humiliating, and being humiliated for that which is natural is proof enough that shaming is one of God's favorite tools to use! Throughout the Old Testament, we see Jesus (acting in the person of God) coupling shame with physical punishment like famine (Ezekiel 5:12), drought (Deuteronomy 11:17), hemorrhoids that will never go away (Deuteronomy 28:27), and being hit in the head by friends and family with rocks until dead (Deuteronomy 21:18-21). Ladies, I want to encourage you to employ God's chosen behavior modification with your daughters, neighbors, and strangers you meet on the street (Luke 14:23).

You see, how we dress, and how we encourage or shame others according to their dress, reveals whether or not we truly celebrate God. Clothing that accentuates, or celebrates, the female body is the preferred couture of The Enemy. Anything that suggests the presence of bosoms, thighs, or arms like Jennifer Aniston (SP?) are to be avoided lest they give the appearance of enticing men to lust in sexually immoral ways, rather than the bring glory to the Creator of "P-in-V Only" procreation. Self confidence for having a healthy body is deception. It is the language of Satan. Translated, "self confidence" means "pride," and pride leads to self rape when people are tired and over stimulated.

The Biblical value of a woman's body is clearly and consistently less than that of the man, if not equal to livestock (Leviticus 12:2;5; 27:3-7; Deuteronomy 20:14; Judges 5:30). We ladies should never forget the great service our husbands do to impregnate us against their better judgement (1 Timothy 2:14-15). Imagine the shame of the poor husband who has just inseminated his wife, knowing he could have adhered to the preferable advice of the Apostle Paul and remained single had he known what marriage would be like (1 Corinthians 7:1-2). Fortunately. the LORD knew what He was doing when He commanded mankind to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28). Surely an omnipotent and omniscient God could create mankind in any conceivable way, even reproducing the Birth of Eve every time a new child is warranted (Genesis 2:22). But alas, His ways are Higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9), and so while we may not understand, yet can we praise Him! And multiply away! Modestly and with a reverent measure of shame, of course.

The Holy Ghost tells me in my prayers that our language about modesty should always focus on hiding and feeling righteous humiliation over our feminine features. We must never forget the body's created role - to serve our husband (Genesis 2:18). To this end, arms strong enough to lift a child out of a well, legs strong enough to pull a plow, a healthy digestive system that doesn't talk back, and most importantly strong, child bearing hips are all that a True Christian™ woman really needs.

Remember, God hears the prayers of the righteous, and if your prayers are not heard, it is probably because you are a slut.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
so that you may prove what the will of God is,
that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2

Men judge everything. They can't help it.
Women are responsible for leading them to temptation.
Shame on us.

Sister Mary, what a wonderful godly post! Thank you so much, that's a good reminder. May I meekly point out that I am a little concerned with part of the photo you showed, the profanity on it (pointing to the chin) may not be suitable for children.
