After years of The morally superior Sean Hannity run intellectual circles around the liberal hippie Alan Colmes, we are finally going to get what we True Christian™ viewers really want: Pure Hannity. I say good riddance to bad rubbish. That Colmes wierdo was a drag on Fox News from the start, and probably a terrorist as well.

Hannity and Colmes split up

Fox News announced that after 12 years, Alan Colmes will be leaving the top-rated "Hannity & Colmes" at the end of the year.

“I approached Bill Shine (FNC’s Senior Vice President of Programming) earlier this year about wanting to move on after 12 years to develop new and challenging ways to contribute to the growth of the network," Colmes said in a statement. "Although it’s bittersweet to leave one of the longest marriages on cable news, I’m proud that both Sean (Hannity) and I remained unharmed after sitting side by side, night after night for so many years.”

Sean Hannity said Colmes was "a remarkable co-host (for a liberal idiot)," "great friend (if you need someone to carry your luggage in an airport)," and "skillful debate partner (who had the good sense to lose every time).”

Colmes will remain a Fox commentator, and continue hosting "The Alan Colmes Show" on Fox News Radio. Also, he's developing a weekend show.

So will it just be the "The Sean Hannity Show" (as on the radio) or take the name of the weekly Fox show, "Hannity's America?" In the release, published after the jump, there's no mention of Hannity seeking a new liberal co-host, so I assume he's on his own, but can't say for sure. I've put the question to Fox and will update when available.

UPDATE: A Fox spokesperson said it has not yet been determined, but the NY Times hears that Hannity may go it alone. Also, Hannity talks about his true feelings about Colmes in an upcoming Bill O'Reilly interview.

We all wish Sean Hannity luck in his upcoming new solo Fox News programs. I am particularly looking forward to his 20-part special on torture.

I would like to point out that Landover Baptist plaid a HUGE role in this. When Pastor Deacon Fred's MEGA Best seller book: "Welcome to Jesusland" came out a couple years ago, there was a specific passage in there towards the end that explained how our TV filters worked here in Freehold, with Hannity & Colmes with the Colmes filtered out to run a brisk, commie-free 58 minutes. Praise the Lord, Landover's TV filter is now starting to be applied nationwide! Next up: cancel CNN and replace it with the 700 Club on 24x7 broadcast

He will be sorely missed by the faithful bushites at CNN. The shameful thing is he can't take that jezebel nancy grace to that nasty network. Fair and balanced indeed, who wants that? Isn't it owned by a foreigner. Is he legal? We should check his ICE status!
