@Mary: I too will come to your funeral if I feel like I am close enough to God to not risk offending anyone with my presence.

@Dr. Ernest: My grandfather, not my father. I don't know much about Gandhi and I know almost nothing about Mother Theresa, so I really can't give an answer about whether I think that they were good people, although the little bit that I know about Gandhi makes me think that he was a good person, but one never knows how true things taught in public schools are.

Mary, I will do my best to be brave and remember that your funeral should be a joyous celebration of the Godly life you lived in Jesus' service, but I do hope your relatives will forgive me if I weep.

(And I hope your husband gives you permission to remember me in your will, as I'm sure none of your children would have much use for your rifle anyway.)
