I can tell my own unsaved kin from a True Christian....why can't you? This boy never loved your plastic god if he's so ready to run off and fornicate with farm animals.

Why are you so taken in by this lying nancey-boy?
ordered about by his mom, buggered by his father.
Zeus! he is better as a sacrifice than a church-member....
(heh, heh, he said "member")
I am on the adventure of a lifetime! This is even better than the time I used the plastic stones!

for air once, then twice, then
goes to drown within his waters
again—you say—he may be seen
for the third time—my friends

So if you believe that God is dead and Islam is a force for good in the world and that gays are great and Karl Marx had a lot of interesting things to say, that belief system is every bit as valid as following God's commands? You have a very odd idea of what it means to be a Christian, friend.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

No. The belief system is secondary. If you love Jesus then you should want to follow his word. You shouldn't love him because his word just says so.

Do you believe in Salvation by works, faith, or grace, friend?

Seth, and tough it out and be a man.
Hone your powers of reason here.
It's understood that a sixteen year old may lose heart
when confronted with a lot of same-opinion, correct elders.
Stick it out long enough to realize we are trying our best
to pull your addled head from out your arse.
A red'ning slap, a swift drop kick,
builds more than any cathylick

OK, bye.
And yes, we knew. Most of us aren't 16.

Didn't you leave?
OK, since you're not leaving:
How do you know God? How do you know Jesus? Met Him, have you? No?
There's only one reliable information source: The Bible. Pastor Feelgood isn't a reliable source, since he has no more personal experience meeting God than you. He's just telling you what the Bible says, so you won't read it yourself. He knows that if you read it for yourself, you'd be calling him a liar!
Have you read the Bible? It tells you what to believe.
And yes, Christianity is about knowing, respecting, and keeping God's Word. Every Word, not just the happy-happy joy-joy lovey-dovey words that Pastor Feelgood likes!
Tell me, how can you say what Christianity is about, when you clearly have not read God's Word?
Do you think God is to be molded by humans into what they want Him to be?
GOD is the CREATOR. GOD DECIDES, not YOU, and not ME.
Now, quit whining about what you think God should be, and sit your lazy behind down with your King James Bible and a notepad. Read it. Take notes.
Find out for yourself who God is and who Jesus is.
You lazy wanna-be "Christians" frustrate me far more than atheists or Muslims or Wickers. At least they bother to research a subject before they start preaching it from the rooftops!
"Oh, I think God is this, I think God is that." You have a book that tells you exactly who and what God is! READ IT! There is NO OTHER SOURCE!
