Happy Birthday -
03-27-2007, 07:23 PM
I hurt:
inside;
myself.
I disappoint:
you,
myself,
family,
friends,
teachers,
everyone...
I am:
forgettable,
broken,
hurting,
worhtless and unworthy,
lazy,
a disappoinment,
completely spent: drained;
in every sense of the word: tired;
ugly,
very sorry.
I have:
nothing left to give,
I want:
to please everyone,
fix everything,
meet their expectations,
disappear.
They All:
hates me,
scorns me,
resents me,
pretends to love me,
judges me,
criticizes me,
expects too much from me,
demands everything from me,
ingores me,
takes: wear me out until they've mined all my emotions and there's nothing left of me;
hurts me,
leaves me,
forgets me.
No one can truly love a burden
any more than they'd love a pebble in their shoe.
But all I am is a problem
and somehow I've become everyoen's problem.
They don't love me:
they feel obligated to me:
they bear me, have to fix me.
But their expectations only serve to break and hurt me further.
But today is a "special day";
so today they'll keep their harsh crticisms
and their ruthless judgements
thinly veiled behind comments of
congratulations and feigned affection:
"Happy empty Birthday!"
"We're so proud of you" : "We expcted a lot more from you by now":
"We're glad to see you" : "We've interrupted our lives to talk to you, and now that we have, we're leaving;
"We love you" : "You have no idea what a huge disappoinment you are to all of us";
As you can see, I speak their language
and won't be fooled by any of their
seemingly-affectionate comments.
It's pathetic how much I want
to have their love and approval.
It's pathetic.
I'm pathetic.
Pathetic.
Happy 19th Birthday,
Alie!

Pathetic. I agree.
Why not post some of the beautiful poetry found in the Holy Bible instead of that depressing gibberish?
Song of Solomon 1:8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents.
1:9 I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh's chariots.
1:10 Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold.
1:11 We will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.
1:12 While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.
1:13 A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts. "He shall lie all night betwixt my breasts."
1:14 My beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi.
1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.
1:16 Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green.
1:17 The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.
Now THAT's poetry!
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Well, I'm not ashamed to say that I love the Word of God.
I don't know how many times I've quoted Song of Solomon 1:9 to Sister BTB. It always does the trick!

To the young witch, your sorrows now are unfortunate but what you are going through now is paradise compared to where you are destined to end up!
Pastor Zeke, why, what a romantic Godly man you are! I realise, of course, that you're betrothed to Sister Thumper, but do you by any chance happen to have a brother?

Allie,
Yes you are horrible and worthless, but turn to Jesus and He can help you. Despair is the devil's forplay. Don't give in.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.
