Rand Paul Stands up to ''Big Union'' -
03-06-2011, 04:40 PM
While many think that GOP Representative from Kentucky is a bit too Liberal for their tastes you have to admire anybody who makes a stand against ''THE MAN'' the man I speak of is BIG UNIONS. These socialist scum who are trying to ham string our American way of Life. Mr. Paul wants everybody to think long and hard about being under the thumb of BIG UNION and recognize the fact that something must be done....and needs to be done now!
Quote:
Dear Concerned American,
You have an historic opportunity to break the cycle of tax-and-spend, political corruption and out of control budgets caused by Big Labor’s compulsory union power.
But you must strike now to make Congressmen and Senators choose between standing with the 80% of Americans who oppose forced unionism and Big Labor's multi-billion dollar political machine.
It will be an epic, historic battle and your support is critical.
Please sign the petition below right away.
Sincerely,
Rand Paul
U.S. Senator, (R-KY) National Right to Work Act Petition to: My U.S. Senators and Congressman Whereas: Federal law permits Big Labor to confiscate $8 billion from American workers’ paychecks every year just to get or keep a job;
Whereas: This forced unionism breeds violent strikes and a hate-the-boss mentality which drive good jobs overseas, jack up prices and risk re-igniting inflation:
Whereas: Union bosses use this forced-dues fortune to corrupt our political system with over a billion dollars every election cycle;
Whereas: Union-puppet politicians routinely vote for higher taxes, bailouts, job-killing bureaucracy and even more porkbarrel spending keeping our nation locked in recession;
Therefore: I urge you in the strongest possible terms to strike a blow for freedom and American prosperity by co-sponsoring and casting your every vote in favor the National Right to Work Act.
By submitting the information below, you authorize the National Right to Work Committee to deliver your petition to the Capitol Hill offices of your Senators and Congressman.

Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

I had my concerns about Sen. Paul, but I'm glad to see he's taking a principled stand against those greedy, selfish union elitists.

Who do workers think they are? The Bible doesn't call for workers to rise up and revolt when they don't like something. If they are punished by their boss, they are free to go. If they've been hurt on the job, they are free to go.
Exodus 21:26-27 And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake. And if he smite out his manservant's tooth, or his maidservant's tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.
The Bible reminds us that the world doesn't need a bunch of whiney, crying little girls mining the shafts. We need good strong boys who can take it like a man when things get hard on them!

They think they're a bunch of communists, that's who they think they are! They even invited that obese communist Michael Moore to give a speech to them yesterday.

Rand Paul is my kind of American.
He points out the evils of the:
- 40 hour work work as if 24/7 is something bad.
- sick leave when someone breaks a finger nail
- wages that make commies drool in envy
- "Holidays" days off for commies that believe that something like "Lincoln's Birthday" is some big deal.
- A couple of weeks off after working for only fifty weeks during the year.
Commie ideas all. They just make me want to puke.
It it weren't for ACLU-inspired public defenders, I would keep my court going 24/7 to send negoidals, messicants, and other furrin' types to hard time on a regular basis.

If they don't like the work, they shouldn't be working in the first place.
Matthew 20:1-16 For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. He went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace. To them he said, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise. About the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle. He said to them, ‘Why do you stand here all day idle?’ "They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ "He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’ When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.’ "When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius. When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius. When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household, saying, ‘These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!’ "But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me for a denarius? Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you. Isn’t it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?’ So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.
These "workers" have no Biblical right to complain about anything. If they don't like what they're getting, they should never have agreed to it in the first place.

God covered many aspects of labour relations, and I am sure that several (or all) of them will be posted here. Exodus 21 tells us:
EXODUS 21
20 And if a man smite his seruant, or his mayd, with a rod, and hee die vnder his hand, hee shall bee surely punished:
21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, hee shall not be punished, for he is his money.
It is not acceptable to club staff to death on the spot - but if they linger a day or two, that's ok. This alone is sufficient reason to reject the communistic, atheistic dogma of the unions.
Perhaps I should include vv 3 & 4 (in the light of vv 26, 27 [posted above])
EXODUS 21:
3 If he came in by himselfe, he shal goe out by himselfe: if he were married, then his wife shall goe out with him.
4 If his master haue giuen him a wife, and she haue borne him sonnes or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her masters, and he shall go out by himselfe.
This is referring to 6 year contracts - you get to keep the wives/children of staff who marry while under your ægis - but whether the same applies to departing persons, due to injury (other that death within the time limit Exodus 21:21) I have no opinion to offer of course. Perhaps one of the Pastors could be more explicit.
