That is because you asked the wrong question and it is imprecise. Santa Claus (note the spelling) is a traditional character based upon a shortened version of "
Saint Nicholas" a catlick so-called saint.
Are you asking if this man existed? Are you asking if Santa Claus is separate from St Nicholas and Santa Claus delivers children presents?
The phrase "believe in" is problematic. We 'believe in' God in a different way to the way we 'believe in' Piggly Wiggly for example.
In the former case, we believe in God, and that the Bible, AV1611, is His Inerrant Word. In the latter case, we believe Piggly Wiggly exists but may not believe that its 'amazing offers' are invariably 'amazing offers.'
Perhaps you can help us here by being, for want of a better phrase, "more intelligent".
