I had always believed in the bible and Baptist religion. I always believed myself to be a Christian. I could never follow another religion but Baptist for I know it to be the truth. But now I am so angry with God. I begin to see god in a new light. Before I never question god now that all i do.
God says thou shall not kill. To kill is a sin but yet god has done this very thing. He flooded the earth killing unborn babies, babies, and children not to mention adults. He did it again when he killed every first born son regardless of age. What does this make god? To kill is a sin then god committed a sin

Dear Miss Spoink: To you, I do extend a warm and kind Your rant has been noted, although we were hoping that your introduction would have been more uplifting, one that glorifies the , and one that included your favorite verse, as requested at the top of this page.

Perhaps the incidents that you have noted should give you cause to consider your own circumstances in life. If you are not living to serve Almighty , or if you are lying, cheating, fornicating, etc., then by reading the carefully, you should be able to see that has very valid reasons for executing judgement on rebellious sinners.

Romans 12:19 "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the ."

Perhaps you should be asking to forgive you, from holding such unkind resentments toward and Father. And, by visiting , you have found yourself in the right (and only) place to learn of the Truths that you need so desperately, in order to escape the eternal fires of , which you so surely deserve.

Friend, you are so misunderstood.
Everybody dies. When is decreed by God. If God kills you (especially if He singles you out) you should feel fortunate. It is proof that God sees you and is paying attention to you.
I am sad when I see old and infirm people. God wants them to suffer. Yet you do not care about them. What does that say?

There is a reason why that happened. Firstly there were hybrid humans operating outside God's will and therefore outside His hopes and dreams for humanity, part of which is to live as He intended and praise Him. In essence, the wretches you've mentioned are in the same category as persons whom God does not wish to crush upon rocks yet who jump off of the cliffs He created, anyway.

I'm not sure which first-born deaths you referred to, possibly the ones in Egypt? Again, the pharaoh had been in discussion with Moses. The Israelites had very different ways to worship God and they aspired to travel away from Egypt and receive The Law instructing them how to worship God.

EVENTUALLY PHARAOH WILL EVICT THE ISRAELITES!

And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more. And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

As you can see, it was God's promise to His people that was being thwarted by Pharaoh, part of which was that everyone should live together in peace. I don't want people to come here and run amok with a bulldozer but that alone is not sufficient to prevent them. Now you may think that for God that obstacle [the other person's freewill] does not exist. In this case, rather than the pharaoh agreeing with Moses' request [to let The Israelites go] he decided to introduce the death motif himself. But in his upside-down world, threatening death on Moses brought down death on his own people.

Here again, it's like if someone decides to fire off a cannon and loads it up and puts in a nice big cannon ball and lights the fuse (or whatever cannons have) but stood at the wrong end. It may not have been their intention, we may have tried to prevent it, but really they shot themselves.

We are a small part of the universe. Therefore we are less complex than the universe.

Well I don't think so. For example if I have one idea of the universe and you have a different idea which I don't understand, then both those ideas are part of the universe and because I don't understand your bit, I can't understand the universe as a whole.

God is more than the universe. Trying to understand Him, the way He does things, the reasons why, is beyond our capacity. It's like trying to pour ten gallons of oil into an eggcup. It would swamp everything and the eggcup would be lost.

We are that eggcup. Jesus made a way for us not to need to worry about questions like you posted. We learn about Him in The Bible. When we accept Him as perfect, nothing else really matters.

And there's no need to feel lost.

You seem to have difficulty with 1. the American language and 2. any sense of legalities and 3. The Bible:

Note God says "thou" - not "I"
The verb is "shalt" - Ex:20:13: Thou shalt not kill.

and in the NT:
Ro:9:21: Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Ro:9:22: What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

God made us - he can do what he wants with us.
