Republicans across the country push legislation to restrict drag show performances -
02-05-2023, 09:27 PM
We here at Landover Baptist have warned against this despicable atrocity that are drag show performances ever since the 18th century when the first drag show performances were. Now finally, GOP, God's Own Party, is addressing this problem! What we conservatives really want is a big and authoritarian Government, as long as it is Bible-based and Republican, of course.

A slew of bills, mostly in Republican-led states, are looking to restrict or prohibit drag show performances in the presence of children, part of a larger fight over a burgeoning culture war issue.
Republicans say the performances expose children to sexual themes and imagery that are inappropriate, a claim rejected by advocates, who say the proposed measures are discriminatory against the LGBTQ community and could violate First Amendment laws.

Republicans simply know their Bible, Democrats do not. Deuteronomy 2:5 tells us neither a woman should wear clothes of a man nor a man wear the cloak of a woman because either is an abomination. God has warned us, no drag shows.

God's concern for our wellbeing is always encouraging. One way it's expressed is through guidance, by commandments and prohibitions. Many people disagree with those but not always the same ones. Murder? they agree. Adultery? disagree. Perjury? agree, generally. Cross-dressing? strongly disagree. And so on. But having rejected God in this way, how do they decide which to accept and which to dismiss as irrelevant?
Devils are at work when that happens, setting themselves up to be adored in place of God but pretending the form of adoration they desire is a novel idea generated by the people they've deceived. Allowing one's life to be dominated by peripheral details most folks never consider at all——or if they do, it's as neutral elements in any situation——is a type of sacrifice and the forms of worship preferred by devils are classed by God as abominations.
For those who disagree, presumably none of that matters. But there is a reason why. Do they think they made themselves? Probably, at least insofar as they have "reinvented" themselves. The "re-" prefix implies a new persona they did not have to start with, the original having been formed by God. They just don't care – and without legislation, as was the case when God's Law first became known, there is no way for them to know how much He loves them.
Deuteronomy 32:17-18 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

What ever happened to nice and normal American entertainment like this?

This is so true. Darkies are just inherently humorous. With their bulging eyes, broad noses, blubbery lips, wacky dialects and turns of phrase, propensity for breaking out into dance, and parodically exaggerated primary and secondary sexual characteristics, they look and sound funny - mostly haha funny. Add to that their wily natures, talent for skulduggery and schemes, shuckin' and jivin', and middling IQ, they get themselves into all kinds of hi-larious hi-jinks. The coon naturally lends itself to comedy and farce, almost as if God made it that way. Indeed, if they won't fulfill the terms of their salvation as per the Curse of Ham by serving us in manual labor, perhaps they can be saved in entertaining us. The fact that they do is probably the only reason we haven't sent them back to Africa, where they belong.
But women are hardly entertaining, they're rarely funny. I don't see the appeal. Only faggots and queers are really interested in women, that's why they dress up in their clothes.

Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth ... Unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. I think that Negro's name was Al Jolson. I suppose his parents came from Africa. But, whatever, he worked steady and was a credit to his race.

For that to happen there'd need to be a desegregated theatrical quarter where actors, musicians and other bohemians lived and worked together. How else could one group know what would entertain another? Whether or not that was so in Jolson's day and whether there was give-and-take regarding audiences is immaterial when reflecting on what happened once those restrictions were eased.

Republicans have had it with this "trans" fad. They are going to stop it and stop it NOW. Donald Trump is quoted as saying he will outlaw trans surgeries or advising for people of all ages. That man is going to win in 2024.
Of course, that does not stop the left from whining about "trans dignity" and "trans equity." Since when does any group defying the will of God to populate the earth with only two genders, male and female, deserve "dignity?" They deserve only to wear the letter "S" for sinner on their foreheads.

Drag queens would face up to 2 years in prison under a new GOP-backed bill in Oklahoma.
I would say something like that makes a basic statement, that sinning is not tolerated in this Christian nation, and for sure it would teach them a lesson to not sin again.

Wonderful summary, Brother Jensen, on where things stand. We, as a Christian nation, cannot stand by and watch sin fluish. Yes, Pastors like Pastor Zeke, now rail against sin. But think of how much better our chances of defeating Satan are if we have an army of warriors against sin on our side.
These are our police and armed forces. If we pass laws against sin then law enforcement is assigned to enforce them. This gives us many times the personnel fighting sin than we have at this moment.
When local police enter kid's rooms at local public libraries and haul away trans perverts who were reading stories to children while in drag, we will move this country closer to Jesus.

Writing after the Civil War on women’s suffrage, Douglass asked his readers to see the “plain” fact that “women themselves are divested of a large measure of their natural dignity by their exclusion from and participation in Government.” To “deny women her vote,” Douglass continued, “is to abridge her natural and social power, and to deprive her of a certain measure of respect.” A woman, he concluded, “loses in her own estimation by her enforced exclusion from the elective franchise just as slaves doubted their own fitness for freedom, from the fact of being looked down upon as fit only for slaves.”
|
|
Paragraph 13, about half way down.
Here, after transitioning to a completely different and unrelated theme, natural conditions of dignity are set out as follows: - Douglass asked his readers to see the “plain” fact
- women themselves are divested of a large measure of their natural dignity
- To “deny women her vote,” Douglass continued
- abridge her natural and social power
- deprive her of a certain measure of respect
- loses in her own estimation by her enforced exclusion from the elective franchise
Overlooking the fact that people like Deborah Judges 4:4-5, Poppaea Sabina, Queens Boudica and Elizabeth I, Margaret Thatcher – well, that's enough to be going on with. I'm not saying I'd like to have them around for tea and a slice of cake, probably not! I'm citing them as examples that their natural and social powers seem unabridged. Very unabridged, in fact. At the same time, one could highlight plenty of men, white men, old white men, rich old white men etc., etc., definitively abridged by having their heads chopped off.
How is this relevant? Because it requires a natural understanding of the disenfranchised group. Explicitly stated as such! What (if any) genders were assigned at birth is not mentioned and whether any of them were other than society dictated is very conspicuously absent. Everything in the article requires readers "to see the plain fact" which its argument is demanding everyone denies! Why? because black transgender persons present two grievances not just one. This is not arguing from the general to the particular, it's not an argument at all.

Ever since I can remember, local governments have banned nudity in public. Banning men dressed as women is merely an extension of that moral responsibility. Homers have no grounds for complaining about banning drag performances. The moral danger is SO obvious.

This wonderful law is actually pro-gay. It reminds sodomites that God disapproves of their lifestyle (Leviticus 18:22). Anything we can do to shame them, stigmatize them, ostracize them, and get them to deny homosexuality is what compassionate Christians need to do. Anti-gay Democrats hate fags, they want them to go to Hell and do everything in their power to ensure they do. They let them get married and do drag, it's like giving dish soap to a toddler and telling them it's Kool Aid, just cruel and abusive.

It's just like women, Eve is an example, to test authorities. While we men are making progress against drag men, women are constantly undermining our efforts by dressing as men.

The children will probably be traumatized witnessing a State Police SWAT team raiding the library and violently arresting and tazing the drag queen story teller in front of them, dragged (no pun intended) kicking and screaming into the police van. And they should be traumatized, so that they learn that a man does just not put on womens' clothing! Perhaps it will teach them a lesson how to dress, which is up to the Government to decide of course.

Glory! They'll think "If I crossdress, that police brutality will happen to me." That's what we want them to think, hopefully because it's true. The threat of punishment is the only thing stopping us from savagery. If I didn't think I'd go to Hell, I'd have literally nothing holding me back from going on a killing rampage.

That is a two edged sword. If the Government is following God's recommendations there would be no problems. There are clothing designs though which are obviously intended for men but which leave much to be desired in this respect. What if regulations were brought in prohibiting one thing but enabling this?
Or this?
There are also hairstyles.
Or this?

When I lived in godless NY City, a few of my friends attended a Broadway play. When we left it was exceeding cold, yea, even freezing. One of the women had forgotten to wear a coat. I offered my suit jacket. She declined at first but then accepted my offer.
Am I doomed for hell because of this? Is she?

I'm more of an expert on other topics than what fabrics are meant for which person, but I think you're in the clear on this Brother Larry. You merely offered an opportunity for her to sin, and she took it. That's on her. You did nothing wrong.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.
