Government failures in East Palestine train derailment -
03-04-2023, 08:35 PM
Four weeks ago a train containing toxic chemicals derailed and spilled the contents. People are angry - where is Joe Biden? At a recent town hall meeting, residents were demanding federal involvement. Where is the Department of Environmental A... something? And where is the Department of.... um... the Department of... that one that should be abolished, not Education, not Commerce, the other one, begins with an E... not education.
Quote:
"They're all scientists, they're sitting up here telling us nothing is wrong," one resident said in a heated exchange with Mayor Trent Conaway.
"We are not imagining this," he said. "This is not something we asked for, sir. I am begging you, by the grace of God, please get our people out of here!"

Disgusting that scientists (who create toxic chemicals) refuse to solve this crisis. It's time to vote out the Joe Bidens of the world with their do-nothing scientologists and excessive overbearing federal regulations on train safety, and put our faith back in hard-working Christians to summon the grace of God, and cut up the red tape so companies can bring jobs.

Trump handled it beautifully. He went to East Palestine immediately and insulted Biden. It was really something the way he avoided talking about the dozens of train derailments that happened when he was in office. Those were unimportant events.
Voters need to realize leadership is available in our country. It is waiting in Mar-a-Largo until 2024.

So, does that means that Former President Trump no longer supports Israel?

At CPAC President Trump said he would send the military into cities and keep them there until law and order is restored.
That is what he needs to do with the trains. The tracks need to be guarded against vandalism and attacks by liberals. Military personnel need to be on board observing the Engineers.

Wasn't he in Jewkraine? He cares more about foreigners than the citizens of his own country, but of course we already knew that with his come one, come all immigration policy. And what about that little faggit Buttboy, was he too busy off doing drag shows in front of children? Most of the people in East Palestine, Ohio voted for Trump, so of course Old Man Biden wants them to die.

This accident never would have happened had Donald Trump still been President. Trump knows more about the railroads than anybody, and he would have used even more deregulation than he had applied during his administration to make toxic rail traffic safe for everybody.

Too much regulation does seem to be at the heart of the problem here. Trump did what he could to dump them, but liberals stopped complete deregulation.
An example of why regulations are the problem is this. When the train tipped over, everyone instantly knew it had dangerous chemicals on board. Right away people near the train started coughing and saying they had headaches. The truth is, liberals gave them coughs and headaches. There is a good reason the public should not know certain information. Trump understands this.

Mayor Hold, for those who don't know, has steadfastly held the line against the regulation of the railways and other industries in Freehold.
After the multiple car accident that killed 24 at BSNF's Main Street crossing in 2004, the nanny state liberals agitated for the installation of an automated rail crossing gate. Mayor Hold steadfastly held back the tide, arguing that rail crossing gates are expensive, slow traffic, and impinge on our fundamental freedoms. He suggested that people start taking personal responsibility for their actions rather than blaming others.
This action saved the city nearly $95,000, and, in the 18 plus years since then, there have only been seven more fatalities at that rail crossing. Another win for small government!

Thank you for remembering that, Brother Dnow. The average voter out there does not know how complex and how much it costs to keep those rail crossing gates operating. They have sensors, bearings, motors to run then up and down and flashing lights that do not like cold weather. All for what?? So Witless does not have to look and judge whether there is time cross before the train roars through?
Often, I'm in a hurry to get to an appointment and see a train coming. I am skilled at judging the speed of the train and my own speed. My call is often close, but I save countless hours a year.
As we speak here, there is a bill pending in Washington to force all kinds of safety measures on our wonderful railroad companies. Republicans have stalled any such nonsense so far.
