I find it hilarious that you guys hate Catholics traditions and superstitions yet this guy not only takes the knife but throws it away in a river the goes through the process of ridding himself of his clothes and dousing himself in holy water. Superstious much? Then again I am not the one conflating possible mental illness with demonic possession. I'm not against corporal punishment but what I'm against is grown ass men trying to beat the demons of 13 year olds..

The Bible does not say anywhere that punching isn't an acceptable choice of rearing. It actually tells us we should!
Psalm 141:55 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
Did the father break the 13 year olds head? No! Why are you blowing this out of proportion? Your opinion on the matter is null, and you
don't tell your elders how to administer discipline.
1 Timothy 2:12-13
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
There! Huzzah! It's written, and I've even shown you now. So shut your mouth!
