Satan and his chums, wiccans and atheists, come up with craziest ideas. Now they are talking about the earth being some kind of independent thingy we should get all teary-eyed about. They are saying "Earth Day," an invention of hippies in the 1960's, has some kind of super-natural and religious meaning.
Such nonsense. Satan, wiccans and atheists have not read the Bible. God tells us man is to rule over all other things (Genesis 1:26). Now, I could see all of us at Landover Baptist celebrating the beginning of Spring by cheering when our lawn contractor pours the first fertilizer and herbicide on our flawless green grass. That would at least be consistent with God's Word.
The best solution to Earth Day, however, is to ignore it.
