As a professional politician, I see the results of this trial and Trump's strategy as a replay of the 2016 election. You will recall President Trump defeated Hellery.

All during the 2016 campaign dirt was dumped on Trump. "He is terrible because of this...He is terrible because of that...etc etc." Trump all but invited wrath directed toward himself. He portrayed himself as "not a politician." It turned out "not a politician" was what voters were looking for. The worse the news was about him the more votes he received.

You can sense that Trump wanted to lose this lawsuit. He wanted scorn heaped upon himself. He didn't testify himself because he would have won. My suggestion, watch the master of the long game, Donald Trump.

I made reservations today to attend the Trump 2024 inauguration. If others in Freehold want to join me book now--the tide will turn and there will be no rooms in DC.

I too, Mr. Mayor, hear echoes of 2016. When Mr. Trump says "I could shoot a man on 5th Avenue and get away with it" what I hear now is "I could rape a woman at 754 5th Ave, New York, NY 10019 in late 1995 or early 1996 and get sued in civil court for $5m".
