<Quirky Introduction Title> -
02-25-2011, 10:42 AM
Hello. My name is Amara, but most of the people who know me call me Bambi. From what I’ve read in some post and in some peoples profiles, church members here might call me ‘slut’, ‘whore’, ‘witch’, ‘heathen’, etc….
Before I go any further, I should tell everyone reading this that I am wiccan. *gasp* I know, I know, ‘… going to hell… must repent… whore’, and such will more than likely be thrown at me and I may even be “shunned” by some Christians. It’s not the first time that I’ve heard any of that. If I even say a word that sounds like ‘wiccan’ or ‘witch’ in context with something completely different, conservative Christians go crazy like I’m going to put some sort of “curse” on them. So, before I go on, I would just like to say that, no, I will not place any type of “curse” or evil “spell” on anyone.
Now that that’s out of the way, I suppose the next thing to do is to say a little about myself and my views. The first thing would be my background: I was raised in a Baptist church in Texas until around the age of 7. Then my family started attending a Pentecostal church for about a year. We then went to an Apostolic church for several months before my family started attending a Methodist church, where both my younger brother and myself were baptized of our own free will.
A few years later, my family moved to India, due to my father’s company outsourcing jobs. The only way my father could keep his job was to move.
After 2 years in India, my parents decided to sent me and my brothers and sisters to live with my aunt and uncle in Tennessee. They home schooled all 8 of their children, but my parents didn’t want us to just stay at home all day, so we ended up going to the local public school(s), which was very different from the private school that we had previously attended in Texas.
After I graduated high school, I decided not to go to college right away. Instead I went on a road trip with a couple of friends that I had made in high school. After a while, I started questioning my spirituality and personal beliefs. While there are a few certain aspects that I feel to be true in the Bible, and in Christianity in general, I just had this strange feeling that there was much more truth in the world that’s not explained, or even acknowledged, by Christianity.
So, I started to learn about all sorts of religions, political views, and such. Then, I came across several books in Wicca. Unlike other, more widely spread organized religions, Wicca doesn’t have a specific set of dogmatic rules that state how you must live and act, which I found rather freeing. After several months of searching and learning, I had decided that Wicca was the path for me.
I know what you all must be think, ‘… she’s trying to get us to follow her religion and abandon our views…’, that’s is far from the truth. In fact, I personally believe that all religious views are connected and that every “deities” that are worshipped are the same deity. I also believe that this is because every civilization had different spiritual and economic needs and that, due to differences in region and politics and so forth, they all saw this particular Supreme Being in different ways. Over time, the various sacred texts that those civilizations follow become corrupted and mistranslated as it spread.
I’m sure most, possibly all, church members reading this are saying to themselves, ‘well, that’s just nonsense… you’re going to hell…’ etc…, and all that I have to say to that is simply: you’re entitled to your own opinions.
Since this introduction is running a little long, I’ll need to end this posting here. I’ll try to get ‘part 2’ of my life up, however I may end up answering questions that some people may have.
So, for now, I say “Farewell”

I'm so pleased that you have decided to renounce your evil Wiccan ways and turned to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Do you need for us to set up a Plan of Salvation for you?
For a very modest fee, I'm sure one of our Pastors will give you some one-on-one Ministering.
Welcome to Landover Baptist Church.

Actually, I originally came here because my sister said that she found this place, joined the webforum, and was banned.
There was one thing that impressed me about this forum, as opposed to other sites my sister like to frequent: the fact that people here use complete sentences and grammar, which is a very rare occurance on the internet.

What are you doing here, witch? You do realize that, if it weren't for secular law, which we have to obey according to Romans 13:2-6, we would have to exert Biblical judgment over you, as Exodus 22:18 and Leviticus 20:27 command?

"Knowing" in the Biblical sense, that is, I guess. Why can't you just stop whoring with demons and instead getting on your knees for Christ?

Why should I believe that? Wiccans are known to be liars, as all satanists are. After all, Satan is the father of lies.

That makes no sense, witch. Following a religion without a set of specified dogma is the same as following no religion at all. After all, if you now, being a wiccan, still can do just whatever you like, how would that be any different from your behavior without your "religion?" Clearly, it is all just an excuse to offer yourself to strangers during abominable pagan sex rituals.

The ancient Eqyptians believed the sun was pushed around every day by a giant scarab. Are you calling Our Sweet Lord Jesus Christ a dung beetle?
Why don't you just abandon your silly worship of the moon, which, after all, was invented by this lunatic in the 50's, Gerald Gardner:
and instead accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Don't you realize that Hell is a very hot place, and you will be abused each day by demons with barbed tallywhackers? That's extremely painful, you know!
Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
Praised be Your Glorious Name™.
Amen.

Hello there, Sister. Great to see another wiccan visiting this forum! Is it OK if I call you Bambi as well? If you like, you might call me Moonbeam, that's how some of the girls at my coven like to call me.

Yes, that's what they do. I've grown up in Freehold, among most of the people you see posting here, so I've grown used to being called names like that.

I don't think they will listen to you. Many people in town seriously believe that I'm dancing naked in moonlight every night (well, at ceremonies I'm sometimes skyclad, but only at the Sabbaths), and cause babies to be born with deformities (marrying cousins is common practice in Freehold). They have missed some 2000 years of more progressive thinking.

I was baptized as well, here at Landover, not of my free will, of course. I rejected the mindless hatred of the bible when I was about 16, at which point I was excommunicated.

"Love thy neighbour as yourself" and "do unto others as you want them to do unto you," are nice (and, of course, stolen from earlier pagan traditions), but for the rest, I never found the bible to be very suitable as a moral guide. Especially infinite punishment for finite crimes seems a little barbaric.

That's also what I like about Wicca. I don't have to listen to some supposed "authority," but I can just listen to the whisperings of the Mother Goddess in the wind. Do you worship the Dual Godhead as well?

It wasn't the school that lead me to my current beliefs. It was the hypocracy that I started to see around me after I graduated high school.

(At the risk of sounding like a cheesy, children's, after-school-special) It allows me to follow what's in my heart.
And I don't perform any type of sex rituals.

I'm not calling Jesus that, but if that's what the ancient Egyptians saw and/or believed, then it has nothing to do with me.

I, personally, don't believe in a physical Hell (mental Hell, on the other hand, is a different thing). And I can't just abandon what I believe to be true simply out of fear.

I have never understood this position.
I am not going to use Scripture to rebuke you, but I will use a True Story© to see if I can help to open your eyes.
I was traveling and for one reason or another I stopped at a Primitive Baptist Church on Highway 82 between Waycross, Ga and Pearson, GA (sorry, I can't recall the exact name...this was during my drinking and whoring and internet pornography days).
The first thing the preacher said to the congregation was, "Do you believe in GOD?" and everyone answered loudly, "Yes, Brother!"
He then asked, "Do you believe God is REAL?" and everyone replied enthusiastically, "Yes, Brother, God is REAL!"
And then the preacher paused for a while and leaned on his podium with his head down. After a minute he looks up and asks, "Do you believe in the Devil?"
Nobody in that place was quick to answer, and if they were, they weren't very vocal about it. There was some murmuring and shifting around in the folding chairs, but not much else.
And then the preacher stage whispers, " Is the Devil real?"
Nobody said a word.
And the preacher said, "If you don't believe the Devil is real, you have no reason to believe that God is real, and if you think that Hell is not a real place, you will never make it to Heaven."
That was it.
He walked off; the whole thing took maybe 45 seconds. Shortest sermon I ever saw, and easily the most memorable.
My point is: you are walking around on the Earth, which God clearly made (Genesis 1:1), and yet you deny that there is a Hell (Genesis 1:1 again).
I said I wouldn't use Scripture to rebuke, but I will use Scripture to help. I think that deep down you are salvageable, and I would hate to see you cast out forever.
"Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever." (Jude 1:13)
Powerful stuff!

There are a few people in my town who think I do the same things, but I guess I'm lucky enough not to be completely surrounded by it. It's also very tough to go skyclad where I live, especially this time of year.

Well, my parents always taught me and my siblings that a baptism never counts unless you fully believe, which at that time I did.

I believe in the dualship of God, the male and female aspects of one deity. I've also never been comfortable about using a physical likeness of that deity, rather, I use abstract representations of those aspects.

Loved your intro! The words you put in our mouths so precisely describe yourself, it is obvious you are full of guilt, shame, and self-loathing. And rightly so. Please try to be a little more succinct, dear - it is painful to read in such horrific detail how someone is throwing their eternity in paradise away.
Leviticus 13:44 He is a leprous man, he is UNCLEAN: the priest shall pronounce him utterly UNCLEAN; his plague is in his head.
2 Kings 6:25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver.

Then what are you searching for? You came here...we didn't seek you out.
Don't worry about the rest of it: dwell on your intent.
There is a purpose for everything. Even the most foolhardy and hell-bound scientist has a place for every beaker and Bunsen burner and frozen embryo.
And while you may not know your direction yet, God does:

Bambi and Cassandra, please don't take this personnal, I don't harbor any ill feelings toward either of you as a person, it's just your kind that makes me physically sick to my stomach. Well, with that said, could you do me a big favor? I am in charge of next year's 'halloween hell house' for our local Baptist church and would like some info on cauldrons. Where do you people usually go for your cauldron supplies? We are looking for a cauldron that will fit a young child to put the fear of Jesus deep into them. Hopefully the same distributor that you use for cauldrons can also give me a good deal on brooms. If you are not too busy having lesbian orgies, please help me out! YIC! Glory!

Hi, Bambi, the Prodigal Sister!
I'd like to join Sister Talitha in congratulating you on your decision to turn away from ridiculous, man-made "religions" like Wicca and come to Jesus, who temporarily sacrificed Himself to Himself so that He could forgive you, and anyone else who chooses to follow Him and repent, for breaking His Laws.
By deciding to follow Jesus, you escape forcing Him to resurrect you at Judgment from the peaceful sleep of death, so He can burn you alive for all eternity in His Lake of Fire! If that isn't Unconditional Love, I don't know what is!
This is wonderful! No doubt there is great rejoicing in Heaven at your decision to come to Jesus and be Saved!

So you chose the whore/witch deathstyle because you knew it would enable you to commit as many heinous crimes as you fancied? Why does that not surprise me.
Young ladies these days are under a lot of pressure to engage in casual, anal sex with strange men and boys. Unless you have a sturdy moral foundation (like Jesus) upon which to base your decisions, you are bound to be drawn down the slippery slope of lube and feces that is the quasi-gay deathstyle.
Quasi-gays engage in all of the signature practices of full blown gays, except they do it primarily with members of the opposite sex. These practices include fisting, bestiality, blood orgies, the use of illicit narcotics, and the worship of and sacrifice of animals and humans to Satan.
Does this sound familiar to you?
Well it's never too late to turn to Jesus Christ. He will forgive you, even when you can't forgive yourself. All you need to do it accept His forgiveness and do everything the King James Bible demands. Then you can leave your old "friends" behind. You know, the ones who ritually abused you from infancy and inducted you into the Wiccan cult.
Welcome to Christianity, friend. Your journey is over.

Hi Bambi, I knew a girl in Patterson NJ by the same name. Is it you?
It saddens me you have chosen to spend eternity in Hell instead of Heaven. You know, how you behave on Earth is a lot like a chocolate bar. Chocolate is a Devil food. Wiccca is Devils play. With a chocolate bar, it is moment of swallowing the Devil with your lips and eternity on the hips.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I have a small question as you have chosen to trespass this Godly forum.
Why do you wiccans spread your legs for any bum that happens to pass your way?
Is it somehow connected to your faith or just a result of your lack of inner moral compass?
Yours in Christ!

Goodsirs, should any of you happen upon these witches in the flesh, please remember my family.

Are there any strange marks on the body from where the Devil touched them? If so, they are a witch and should be burned.
If you tie a large stone to their body and cast them into the water and they do not sink, they have renounced baptism, they are a witch and should be burned.
Do they keep too many brooms and can they fly? If so, they are a witch and should be burned.
My youngest, Solomon Solomon Junior, has not yet seen his first witch burning. If anyone finds a witch and plans to burn her, please let me know so my family can come and watch.

The screaming and writhing of the condemned only lasts a short while and we drown out the unpleasant noise with hymns.
I long for the days of my youth when there was a burning every month.
It warms the cockles of my heart to reminisce.
God be with ye, good gentlemen.
