I don't think you understood what he ment, the bible is like an old english story, not the bible was set in england, and I am sure that there are many parts of the Bible which can be interpreted to mean different things, and some things may not mean what they seem.

Is your shift key broken? And with the KJV1611 Holy Bible everything is like it seems. It is 100% totally and completely perfect.
How many mistakes are there in the King James Bible?

There is so much subliminal stuff on TV... at the end, it comes down to bad parenting if your son turn out to be in the wrong way. If you want to be more harsh, you should simply private your child from watching TV or even preventing him from going outside of his house to socializing since other unsaved trash that you guys call may corrupt him.
You guys are ridiculous because at the end, you simply don't want your child to live. You basically only think about the day when he will finally die as a saved true christian. You guys aint living for sure.

My sons don't live? Tell you what, we'll take you and him (he's 9) out and drop you on top of two mountains and see who's still alive in a month. Actually in a months time my son would have probably made it back to town.
My sons have a rich life, they hunt, fish, dog train, 4H, Church activities and we probably spend 100X the amount of time with them than secular parents who stuff a TV in the kids room and leave him in there.
Oh, but you're right, he's so abused because we actually take an interest in what's best for him. We don't allow him to watch brain numbing TV and we don't let him play video games. Someone call CPS.

Even if i accept your challenge, i bet it wont be a problem for me to survive. With my experience as a football player, i think il be able to make it. Just to be accepted in the junior football league, i had to train every days with my team. As a kid, i had lot of friends so i didn't had time to watch TV or play video games for too long. I was always outside, always with my bicycle with my pack of friends. We did lot of stunts back then.
There is nothing wrong with your son's activities. Well, they even do better then what the average kids are doing. Me, i still think that all American kids should do sport from at least 8 years old to 16 years old. After that, it should be their choice to continue playing or not.
Granted, as a kid, i did watch Pokemon and other stuff you guys find subliminal for kids mind, but today, i am still a well balanced person.

How exactly is football going to help you out? Are you going to tackle a bear? Are you going to hike a berry? I really want to know how this is going to help.

So it was okay for you not to play video games, but will utterly destroy our children because they're not allowed? What kind of sense does that make?

So now it's okay for my kid not to play video games? Gee, in just your last post you were saying I was destroying their lives by not letting them.

Why do you pretend to understand what you don't?
Football can teach you to survive in the wild. Once you catch the ball, you are like a deer getting chased by wolfs. You are immune to fear, your condition is good enough to never get tired too fast while running. Dont make fun of football because the Reverent himself made a tread saying that its the best sport to play. There is load of different strategy that you have to read and learn on paper and then, executing them on the field. You have to be smart to be good, so football is not even a sport for mindless beasts.
By training, i do stuff that your kid never did i bet. Jugging around the field 3 times, 50 push-up every days, 50 set ups. Then, we start practicing on perfectly executing our order wrote on paper to make sure to do well before the tournament; when we start competing vs other teams. Basically, the training we do is almost the same training that the army do. One day, i even planned to join the army because i think i can enjoy it.
Second part, i never said that i didn't play video games. I just wanted to point out some of my daily activities as a kid.
I just hate it the way you constantly attack me. What did i do to make you hate me???

I'm actually crying, I'm laughing so hard. Do you really think you could outrun a wolf or a bear? I doubt you could outrun a charging chipmunk.

Well I'm sure you can challenge the bears to a sit-up contest, of course if they don't agree they'll just rip your skull off.

And this makes you a True Christian in your mind?
1 Thessalonians 516Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
Want to explain how two hours a week works out to pray continually?

I can outrun a wolf and bear. I am really good at climbing tree's and i use to Climb walls too, so i wont have any problem to climb any any type of wall because i am use to this. For your part, i don't think your young son could survive alone at his age.
If a lone wolf run to me anyway, i can beat him with a kick since i have my chose on(I do Karate if you don't know). Its not easy like you think to climb BTW. You either have to be skinny to lift your own body easily, or big muscles. I got the muscles so i am good.

I'm sorry, but I'm done. You're an idiot, and that's all I can say about this subject. It's gone way off the pokemon subject.
But really boy, never leave your parents basement. Please for your own safety. The fastest man in the world cannot out run 4-footed predators, you're just a complete and utter idiot.

Back on topic, you guys seem to target any type of show made for kids. All shows have their own subliminal message. Don't need to be a jap show. So at the end, to be save, you simply ask us to stop watching TV, stop playing video game, stop going on the internet and get schooled at home. You might even stop us from socializing.
What you need to do instead is balancing your son so he wont focus on these small subliminal stuff hard to see. This is where good parenting comes in.
Do not home school your child or one day, he will get bullied and wont know what to do at all at the age of 18 years old and he wont be good at socializing. School got physic education. Your son need to be healthy and strong to live longer. Better then that, you can simply make your child play football (The best way to find balance). Make him take part in any kind of activities.
With all that being done, TV wont be a problem at all since he will find the balance. Kids that make suicide because of games like dungeon and dragons don't have any other friends then those who play role-play games. All they do at their spare time is role playing. In the long run, he lose his balance and believe that he is in the world of dungeon and dragon.
This is how it is.

Because most shows today do have subliminal messaging.

Yep, by not letting him watch it.

You have some serious misunderstandings about what homeschooling is. Where is my son not getting socialization? How is he not getting physical education, not that schools do this anymore around here anyway, it was "bad for their self-esteem". They also learn way more of the three R's than they would at public daycare. They learn about Jesus, they learn proper grammar, spelling, sentence structure. They even learn science. [/quote]
Here's a wonderful little blurb on homeschooling

If you don't stop posting mindless images and try putting together an actual contribution to this conversation, you will be banned. You have been warned.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
