Yes, Mr. Grice. I am very sorry that I was offending you. I am thinking that my posts were unclear and I am apologizing. I am now posing my questions in bullet points. Please feel free not to answer them if I am offending you further as a heathen woman. Yes.
- Have you been reading the Jaina sutras?
- Are you thinking that Jesus could be compared to yin and yang as he he is being both merciful and vengeful in his red words? Is the punishment in your Hell same as karma, yes?
- What are you thinking: Would I have a better change to be getting into your heaven if I were following your christianity or if I were to follow the christianity of this forum?
- Are you thinking that the christians of this forum will get into your heaven?
- Do you know the story of the blind men and the elephant? What would you be saying about the elephant? Yes?
- Yes, You are debating with these christians if Jesus was your god or the son of God. Are you thinking that this is an opinion that is determining the entry of christians into your heaven?
- If I shall not be converting into christianity, what will happen to me when I will be dying? Yes?
Yes, I am thanking you for your expert opinion in advance. Yes. This was Harsha Shah, yes.

Thank you for suggesting a response format. This poster Grice doesn't understand the point of your contribution however. Just a few posts ago #383 I tried spoonfeeding evidence from John's Gospel all he had to do was follow the source to get from A to B and I even included the conclusion. Nothing.
A John 1:14-15 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.….John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
B John 1:29-30 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
I know you have trouble not thinking about elephants. Although there are differences between India and Africa in the way elephants are treated, there are also some quite specific similarities. I've never seen one in Scotland despite having camped out by Loch Ness (according to the local blasting timetable) hoping for an eruption and can assure you that if a marauding bull had turned up I would have noticed. What we have here is even more blind than that and your next bullet highlights it very well. The question about whether Jesus is God had already been answered, including the Scripture I posted and you may not agree with it but I'm sure you can read it even if you think Jesus is Ganesh, yet for Grice the topic is still live and I was also wondering if he thinks Salvation is conditional upon this point of doctrine?
I have no idea what he thinks about when contemplating an elephant but have edited the picture just to be on the safe side especially if he's attempting your thought experiment. The Bible is explicit: Jesus is 100% God. Rejecting The Bible is rejecting God. The surmounting question for me is not whether Grice rejects The Bible or what he'd say about elephants but why he rejects The Bible and how he thinks God will respond when told He got it wrong in His own explanation about the need for and the means of Redemption.
Would you like to be Redeemed too, Harsha?
Jesus has paid the price.
Respond to Him today.

Yes, he does seem to be straying farther and farther from Christianity. I hope he ends up Baha'i. If he ends up as anything else, I will be deeply disappointed. It's the sole religion in the world that hasn't - yet - committed a genocide. That must mean something.
Is anyone in charge of taking bets? It is a sort of a sport, I suppose.

"What A Shame"
Two packs of cigarettes a day
The strongest whiskey
Kentucky can make
That's a recipe to put a vagabond
On his hands and knees
I watched it all up close,
I knew him more than most
I saw a side of him he never showed
Full of sympathy for a world that
Wouldn't let him be
That's the man he was,
Have you heard enough?
[Chorus]
What a shame, what a shame,
To judge a life that you can't change
The choir sings, the church bells ring
So, won't you give this man his wings?
What a shame to have to beg you to
See we're not all the same
What a shame
There's a hard life for every silver spoon
There's a touch of grey for every shade
Of blue
That's the way that I see life
If there was nothing wrong,
Then there'd be nothing right
And for this working man they say could
Barely stand
There's gotta be a better place to land
Some kind of remedy for a world that
Wouldn't let him be
That's the man he was,
Have you heard enough?
[Chorus]
What a shame, what a shame,
To judge a life that you can't change
The choir sings, the church bells ring
So, won't you give this man his wings?
What a shame to have to beg you to
See we're not all the same
What a shame
God forgive the hands that laid you down
They never knew how much a broken heart can break the sound and change the season
Now the leaves are falling faster,
Happily ever after
You gave me hope through your endeavors
And now you will live forever
[Chorus]
What a shame, what a shame,
To judge a life that you can't change
The choir sings, the church bells ring
So, won't you give this man his wings?
What a shame to have to beg you to
See we're not all the same
What a shame, what a shame
'Cause we're not all the same
What a shame, what a shame
'Cause we're not all the same

Yes, Mr.Grice. It is I, Harsha Shah again and I am thanking you for your kind reply. Yes, I am very sorry but I have a final question for you. I am hoping that I am not offending you. Yes.
You are stating that you have the same heaven and that both you and these other christians will be going there, yes? I am asking, then, what is the point of debating? You all seem to be disagreeing on many things but if they do not matter, what would be the point? (this was the question that I would like to see your answering, as I am aware that it is hard for you to distinguish questions from other kinds of text yes) Yes? I am really failing to understand this.
What I am seeing is that you are having karma but badly missing ahimsa, the non-violence, the part of my religion that I am cherishing. I am fairly certain that our religions will not be taking us into any kind of afterlife but only into oblivion but that here on Earth the ahimsa would be making our lives much better. Yes! I am sorry if I am offending you further. Yes. Could you, Mr. Grice, be saying yes to everything, not accepting everything as equally good but accepting them as realities that you could be dealing with? Yes?

Dear Mr. Gripe,
Your arrogance is only exceeded by your foolishness.
Isaiah 13:11 - And I will punish the world for [their] evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Be careful Mrs. Gripe. Pride comes before a fall, and you, my girl, are due a long one.
I will say a prayer that you don't hit the ground too hard.

Yes, Mr. Taylor. I am Harsha Shah and while I am afraid that I might be offending you I am asking you some questions. Yes.
i am seeing that on this forum you are the antipode of ahimsa. Yes, I can see in your post that you are very well aware that Mr. Grice has been posting as a man and yet you are deliberately irritating him by referring to him as a woman. Yes, I am seeing that your posts on this forum are beautiful and sad. Yes. I am now trying to say yes to you. Mr. Taylor!
I am seeing your posts as beautiful as you are always unfaltering in your strategy of insulting people and never in a light-hearted or humorous manner. I am seeing your posts as sad because your elephant is a tiny piece of dung that you are observing and failing to see the intricate process of digestion and foraging that is producing that piece of dung that is further being processed by beetles and micro-organisms into new life. Yes.
I am aware that I am probably offending you but I am asking why you are choosing the violent word to make your message heard? Yes, what is the success rate of this strategy, for instance, in percentage of converts? Are you thinking that Mr. Grice will choose your kind of Jesus if you refer to him as a woman?
Yes, I am seeing that you are a serious expert of faith who is trying very hard and loud to distribute his message. You are the jackhammer of your kind of Jesus, you are choosing to irritate and to debate. Yes, are you familiar with the story of the blind men and the elephant? One is touching the feet and taking them as columns, one is feeling the ears and mistaking them for parasols. You are handling the dung and while you are finding it repulsive, you cannot let go. Have you ever been thinking that your Jesus is the elephant and while the elephant is producing the dung it is much more by itself?
Yes, I am probably offending you, which is sad as all offence is building up bad karma. Yes, but I am also thinking that the evidence for consciousness without matter is so obscure that my sentience will not be reincarnating and travelling to any sad and beautiful animal anyway. Yes. I am really looking forward to your educated replies, Mr. Taylor. Yes!

My Dear Mrs./Miss (I am not sure which) Shah,
Thank you so much for your utterly enlightening post. Your kind words, whilst very flattering, are totally undeserved. BTW, you have been totally unoffensive and I take no offence at your offensiveness.
Now, moving on to Mrs./Mr. Grice, or whatever he calls him/herself. He/She was asked, in another thread, whether he was male or female and requested to provide proof. He/She failed to provide said proof so, due to his addled posts and responses, I assumed he/she was a woman and have continued to address her/him as such. All I have tried to do with him/her is show him/her that the path he/she is walking can only lead to one place, Hell.
Now, moving on to more important things, do you have any recipes for Samoosas and Pakhora? Have the rivers in your town turned yellow like those of Bradford?
The Bible tells us that all an elephant is good for is ivory.
Ezekiel 27:6
Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
There are at least 17 other places where this is made clear. So, the only thing I will be doing with an elephant is making benches and thrones. I will certainly not be touching one in the inappropriate manner you are suggesting.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
YIC
TT
P.S. If you have a good recipe for a Mutton Khorma I would appreciate it.
Isaiah 66:15
For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
