Republicans in the Closet Must Stay There -
11-12-2023, 03:45 PM
I am not happy with Republican Matt Gaetz. Matt is a Christian and Trump supporter who is admirable in nearly all ways. He has been trying to stop Biden at every turn including shutting down the government.
But Matt has been sparring with another Republican, Missouri's Rep. Jason Smith, and that's the problem. It all started when the two disagreed and Smith called Gaetz a "liar." He said, "Whenever Matt's mouth is moving, he is lying."
Now, I agree this is over-the-top rhetoric from one Republican to another. But what Gaetz did in reply is what we must stop.
Gaetz said to Smith, "You are the one who is living a lie."
I've been around politics a long time and know the phrase "Living a lie" is accusing your opponent of being a homer.
It is especially bad for Gaetz to be saying this about Smith because certain things are known about Smith that are best left alone. For example, Smith is not married and went on holiday several times with another single House Member, Aaron Schock. They went to lavish homer resort destinations and charged the government for the cost. Schock was forced out of office because this and later admitted he is a homer.
Smith, on the other hand, has a perfect voting record voting against homerism. We need to let Smith's votes speak for Smith. He is right there out-front for heterosexualism. Rep. Gaetz needs to back off on the accusation about Smith because we need votes against homers. It is now too close for comfort.
The GOP civil war is apparently now cleaning out closets (msn.com)

Have I misunderstood? The government pays for certain specific holiday types

but not others? Would the Boeberts be eligible for example, regardless of companion status or orientation no I didn't think so because normal is the new anathema it makes me sick just thinking about it

I've heard so many people ask over the years "What's the deal with Jason Smith?"
Jason Smith is an American businessman and politician, he's in his early 40s, is unmarried, and currently resides in Missouri.

Exactly, Unfalsifiable. That is the only information we need to know about him. Plus, he is a reliable vote against abortion and homerism.
I stay close to the Bible and this kerfuffle reminds me of scripture. In the Bible we learn Apostle Paul took a weekend off from preaching about Jesus and spent it in Joppa with Simon the Tanner (Acts 9:43). Atheists wag their tongues about the relationship between unmarried Paul and Simon the Tanner. Their time together was during Paul's off duty weekend. No one has any business speculating about what Paul did during this private time. Our only interest is what Paul preached.

You provided much needed insight regarding this person. I now feel I could write a biography for Mr. Smith.
Great work, sir.

It is very easy to confuse sodomites with law-abiding Christian men. Take my own case: nobody is more heterosexual than I am, but many people over the years have mistaken me for a gay man because I wear Levis and leather jackets, I lived in Greenwich Village for many years, I am unmarried, I often vacation with a male friend or two, I rented a condo on Fire Island every Summer, I have a slight lisp, I enjoy taking in the occasional ballet, I was once arrested for solicitation in the bathroom of a gay bar (in a fake news witch hunt by the corrupt New York Police Department), and I keep a large supply of Astroglide in my bedroom (it helps soothe my hemorrhoids).
I mean, yes, I was once a sinner, but I wasn't THAT big a sinner before I was saved. NONE of these things makes me gay. So I beg you, please judge me by the contents of my character rather than by applying superficial criteria that can often mislead. And please show the same courtesy to Rep. Smith and to the Apostle Paul, no matter how gay they might appear to be.

I'm with you, Brother Dnow. This practice of some to pass judgement when completely unwarranted is a problem both inside and outside our faith.
Annoying for me is what happens at the Freehold Senior Center when I stop in there for coffee and to shake hands with our legacy citizens. So often one of the atheists, who got into the Center under false pretenses, will get sarcastic and ask, "How are your preacher friend's pool boys?" Of course, he is talking about Pastor Zeke's Filipino assistants. These young men work for Pastor Zeke in a private capacity and discussion of them with those outside the Church in off limits.

Pastor Ezekiel took these young boys under his wing as an act of Christian charity. He is providing them valuable job training and allowing them to support their families who would otherwise starve (the $3.50 they earn every day goes a long way in Metro Manilla). That's not to mention the hands-on, fatherly advice and spiritual guidance that Pastor Zeke dispenses. The good pastor is behind those boys 100%.
Besides, where else is Pastor Zeke going to find enough help to keep the three Olympic size-plus swimming pools at the parsonage clean and stocked with towels, massage oils, etc.? It's not as though we have an endless supply of Mexicans or negroes in Central Iowa!
How anyone can turn this into something sordid is simply beyond me.

Additionally, the whole place is rammed with papists and muslims, both certainly trying to expand their influence. And that's what's most likely to be encountered during one's impressionable years. Satan has a cunning agenda up & running where, although outright communists won't like either of them, the watered down version insinuating itself through things like The Fabian Society or American Utopian Anarchism, seem absolutely in love with this stuff. (If they got their way and did actually set up a Fabianesque or Utopian society, they'd be the first ones up against the wall – but they never consider this oft repeated reality.)
I find it unusual that any homosexual would want to join the Republican Party, muslims too, and as for Rome's branch of the cunning agenda, it is already entrenched. How should catholic immigration be treated? Once a list of prohibited types (like commies during the cold war) is drawn up, it must be pretty easy to add categories.

I love that story. I believe what happens next is Peter is visited at Simon's house by 3 men, who have come to tell him to go to Cornelius the centurion's house. They all stay the night together at Simon's house, before taking the trip to Cornelius' house the next day.
When they get to Cornelius the centurion's house, they do a bit of baptizing before again the story specifically mentions staying a few nights there on their host's insistence.
It's a lovely tale of baptizing and staying at people's houses.

I've always thought Simon the Tanner might be one of the underappreciated men of that ancient time. He so often hosted men who may have been not married or traveling far from their wives, perhaps lonely, and needing a comfortable place to rest for a few days. As a tanner, I envision a young man with splendidly tailored leather clothes.

I think that I read someplace that tanners tended to smell bad. So, it makes sense that they need to bathe a lot.

Brother
I sympathize with you over people accusing you of being gaywise when you are washed in the Blood as I am. I know it is hard to believe but I too have been the subject of rumors and lies simply because of my ministry to the homosexually oriented.
All I can say is press on. Should you need comfort a stay in my luxurious condo is available for you at any time. My personal masseur can rub those tense muscles and make you feel divine in seconds.
We can minister to each other all night and I can invite several brethren to add to our enjoyment of the evening (or longer).

Some political parties channel the "home amateur" ethos quite well. Especially in France or Italy, Europe generally being very well supplied in this respect. Outside of that continent, thinga get even more interestin
(but admittedly, they do get out and people do vote for them)

Ron DeSantis dropped out of the race for the Presidency just in time. Back home in Florida the pot is boiling and he needs to guide his state in the correct direction. Some liberals there want the right to display the rainbow flag wherever and whenever they want to.
There must be rules. The more often people see the rainbow flag the more homers will be accepted. That ugly symbol of sin needs to hidden just like any and all Republican homers must be hidden. Even though DeSantis lost the Republican race, he can make a difference in this country by burying the rainbow flag for good.
