It is about time someone got this right. In an interview published today, Justice Scallia says that women are not protected against discrimination by the U.S. Constitution. Far be it from me to sing the praises of a catholick, but this wop has it right!

ONE example from the Bible is relevant to the discussion. One of the ways that people "discriminate" is by paying someone their actual worth. (Does the concept of a Nigra being worth 3/5 of a person sound familiar? It's in the Constitution!) Support for different pay for different genders can be found in the Holy Bible:

Leviticus 27:3-7 (King James Version)

3And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

4And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

5And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

6And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

7And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

I didn't know a guinea legal sheister would be so understanding of God's will, but may Scallia stumbled onto this one? Either way, he has cleared the way for the Tea Party to enact more of God's Law!

Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that women are equal to men. All it says is "All men are created equal...". Our founding fathers never had the intention to give women the same rights as men. To do so would be unpatriotic and spitting into George Washington's eye.

In fact, since the First Amendment gives Men the freedom to exercise their religion, that means women must be subjugated since it says so in the Bible!

Amen, Brother. As a side note, your quote comes from the Declaration of Independance and not the Constitution. But the mix-up is understandable. I even got this wrong in law school. You natrually quoted the more Holy of the two documents. The Declaration of Independance says we are a Christian counrty in the very first sentence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

The founding Fathers made sure they were as clear as the Bible about this. They KNEW we were a Christian country and they explicitly said so!

i learned everything I know from my husband, Billy Bob. i used to know things taught to me by my parents, as a result of homsechooling, but Billy Bob felt it was important that he begin with a clean slate.
